With the Rock of Love Bus finale airing tonight, Bret Michaels opens up about the woman who won his heart this season, as well as why he chose to find love on TV. Judging by his answer as to the status of his relationship with the show’s winner, it might be safe to say Rock of Love Bus 4 might be in the works. You be the judge.
Why did you decide to do Rock of Love when it started?
Bret Michaels: When they first asked me to do the show, I was reluctant. So I sort of passed and said do this Rock of Love concept, but it’s not for me. I had just come out of this relationship, have two daughters and like my privacy. I’m not a recluse, but I like time with my kids. Three months later, VH1 came back and said you’re the one we want to do it. You throw a good party, you can hold half a conversation and still got a few brain cells left [Laughs].
How would you sum up your experience with this season’s girls?
Michaels: I don’t know where they got the girls, but they were fun and crazy. The big flip of the show is I went in there to be the rock star who dates these girls, but in some sick twist, I became the voice of reason — which is really scary! It’s almost like I was the therapist and the girls were crazy rock stars.
So can you say if there was a solid connection with the winner of this upcoming finale?
Michaels: I definitely felt love at the end of all three seasons. Or, I felt lust and a lot of like. It was the same feeling I had at the end of the first two seasons. I go into these relationships with the same intention, but whether or not they last is a whole different ball game.

After watching this season’s finale of Rock of Love 3 I am convinced this show is not real.Bret definately avoided the real thing by NOT picking Mindy and I am so disappointed in his picking Taya I will not be watching Rock of Love 4!
All of the choices were sub-par this season. Mindy was an annoying whiner, Taya was a lying B actress, Beverly was a man, Jaime was a valley girl groupie. Brett should try to find real women in the real world.

I think he should have dumped them both and went back to Amber!! I love him and Amber together, at the reunion of season 2 they both looked like they were so crazy about each other.. there wasnt one girl on season 3 that he really seemed to connect with..
Brett, Brett, Brett….I was so disappointed last night! I have watched all three seasons and picked the winners from day one of the show and was right the first 2 times, and thought I was again this time. I think if you were to watch the episodes as we saw them, you would see what I am talking about. Mindy would be awesome for you, and I believe Taya is fake and somewhat of a snob. You seem so down to earth, and I am in your age group with kids and you need someone who is down to earth as well. I agree with Trudy somewhat. You and Amber seemed crazy about each other. And you and Mindy did as well. Her funks were out of wanting everything to be right for you and also due to some jealousy because she truly wanted to be with you. What is so wrong with that? I think you are awesome and deserve to find a great girl. I’d love to help you pick! LOL

What a joke this show is, who didn’t know Brett the superficial wonder would pick the penthouse Bimbo who is as superficial as him, and by the way who doesn’t realize he picked someone that he would break up with in the long run, so thyen there can be a bus 4 . This is just a ego stroking show for Brett to see how many girls he can score with, he trades a season of being on tv for these woman for getting sex out of them. and to top it off he probably gets big bucks.. no girl with any integrity would go on that show,but none of those girls deserve to be used either. Brett is a nightmare for the decent woman . guys who want to be like him have no respect for them. he gives all men a bad name. being a rock star doen’t mean that the rukes of respect and society don’t apply to you. its a shame kids choose losers like this to emulate. this is the ultimate use of fame to further your own agenda with no reguard to who gets hurt
why oh why did u pick a bimbo like taya? I mean come on it’s pretty obvious she just wants you because of your fame. She was a freaking penthouse pet. She has fake boobs, fake hair, fake eyelashes everything about her is fake. Mindy on the other hand is real sweet southern woman who was crazy about you. I think you made a big mistake and hopefully in time you’ll realize that. Just because Mindy couldn’t tell you her feelings you could see it in her face how much in love she was with you. Bret- The reunion tape says it all. Taya barely looks at you and makes no effort to accomodate you physically/get close to you. She seems to just go along with what you say. At the end of the final episode she doesn’t really seem happy or genuine, still has that same weepy demeanor the whole time. All WE know is that for not being able to communicate her emotions, Mindy shows more real, raw emotion than Taya could ever hope to muster–you couldn’t see that? It seemed clear that you made your decision based on who you thought dug you the most and who had the most to offer. That’s what happens when you choose with your head(s) and not your heart ehh? If you’re smart (and really do want something real) you’ll see where it goes with Mindy and give it a decent shot before she moves on and gets snached up by some other dude. BTW Mindy is HOT and the fact that she isn’t stripping for DJs (which she is more than hot enough to do)or whoever else wants to put their nasty hands all over her makes her even more so. Taya’s DJ video is sad. She seems to be a people pleaser/submissive very passive person. She doesn’t seem to have much of an identity or true self-concept. She seems uncomfortable, like she’s doing it because it’s expected. She probably screwed you at the end of the show for the same reason. So maybe we’ll see ya on Love bus 4, 5,6,7, while it is entertaining for us–and lucrative for you, you’ve got to be kidding if you really think it’s going to get you somewhere personally on an emotional level. Let’s give Mindy her own show!!
Im your fan number 1 and im behind u in anything you do,,i like to watch rock of loves and the rock of love bus and i pick the winners right,,but as well to the other comments..we looked you more happy with Amber than the other too,,and that include Taya..was very sad for me to watch the pain of Mindy..with her heart broken..and the happy face without love for you in Taya..she just wanted to be the number one in every game…I was keeping my fingers cross til the end for u to pull the same batchelor number..dumping Taya from Mindy there in the stage,,and dont happen,,but you still in time in real life u can do it..dump Taya for Mindy or dump Taya and work things out with Amber..i saw love for you in those ladies eyes..in Taya i just so eyes of victory,,and see u later..Bret,,time will tell..Im always your fan forever…xoxos
well I’m just floored. throught Bert was looking for love. But he chose lust. Mindy, is so in love with him, it’s all over her and I just know that he can see it also, Tea could not even look at him, because he is not what she wants. I believe that he will seek out Mindy and she will REALLY be his Rock of Real Love. Or maybe he should give Amber a call, but no, really Mindy is the lady for him to grow old with and really have a love that is soild as a rock.
WOW, I can’t believe you guys are all so critical on someone you don’t even know, and from what you see on TV. Obviously the show is edited, and we can’t pick the woman for Bret to choose…he didn’t even look like he was into Mindy. Yeah she seems real and down to earth, BUT COME ON, DOES SHE REALLY SEEM LIKE HIS TYPE??!!! He likes what he likes, and what is it to you guys to think you know him and what he should have done!! Damn, what drama… “I will never watch this show again,” and he’s “going to be old and not married.” Do you really think he’s going to find love in the crazy show?? I am a big fan of the “Rock of Loves” and I watch purely for entertainment because I know that is all it is meant to be. Seriously, most of you act like it is a life changing show like the biggest loser. There is no way a “normal” woman will accept his lifestyle, schedule & demands nor will they make for good tv. He couldn’t handle a woman who has her own career, works every day and has her life under control because he doesn’t and his life isn’t.
Bret we all must give Taya a chance she deserves that much, but you chose wrong. Taya is a lovely woman, strong and ambitious and you like her. But the correct choice if love is what you are truly doing these shows for is Mindy. From the host of the Reunion Special to a huge majority of viewers the opinion is you should have chosen Mindy. Why? Mindy does not completely fit into your lifestyle but she fits into an honest relationship and definitely marriage. Taya seems satisfied with the win, sort of the situation Flavor Flav found himself in when he chose Hoopz, she felt satisfied with winning and no real connection, relationship developed because Hoopz viewed the show strictly as a competition, it feels like Taya looks at it in a similar fashion. Don’t know if contractual restrictions prohibit you from dating Mindy but if no such restrictions exist it may be wise to offer another opportunity to Mindy to win your heart again because she still loves you and rock and roll may live forever but Bret Micheals will not, you need Mindy in your later years. She is the modern day Mary Ann, sexy, provocative, seductive, tantalizing, delicious, sensual, magnificent, gorgeous, radiant, ravishing, stunning, lovely, warm, caring, honest, sincere, genuine, loving, an innocent beauty and does not realize any of it; unaware she possess so many hallowed qualities, she is indeed a modern day Mary Ann and you best see that and win her back before she gives up on you, because no other man can touch her until she cries you out of her heart.

I was heart broken when you chose Taya instead of Mindy.Mindy is so true and you see how much she loves you right from her eyes even though she didn’t say it.I think you should forget about doing a 4th Season and go find Mindy because she is 1 in a billion even if she gets into a funk.
