The good news keeps on coming for Melissa Rycroft. The former Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars contestant is now engaged to Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland.
The two got engaged this weekend. It might seem rather quickly for The Bachelor fans, but the two have actually dated on and off for 2 years. They began dating once again after Jason Mesnick infamously dumped Melissa on national television.
Melissa has since gone on to excel on DWTS, and recently got a job as a correspondent on GMA (Good Morning America).
It seems being dumped by Jason might have been the best thing to ever happen to Melissa. Wondering what Jason is up to nowadays? He and Molly however seem to be making it work. The two were still a couple as of Late May.
Hmmm…Melissa dumped her boyfriend Tye to go on TV and makeout with a guy she decided to take a chance on…accepts a proposal from him…doesn’t wear her engagement ring on the show…splits with him..then a couple of months later gets engaged to her dumped-boyfriend Tye.Ah, such sincerity. Wow, and just how many reality shows has she been on? Apparently her major in marketing has paid off! Jason, you are a wise man for seeing through her and making the final decision that you did. Just read another article about this latest engagement…it states that she and Tye have been dating for six months…hmmm…that’s since January!

Wow he is a hottie! Jason was this simpering idiot who was never good enough for her. This guy is in her league.
Mojo, if you paid attention back in January Melissa admitted that she was back with Tye. It’s not new news. She said that he was there for her when she was going through the breakup. I also believe that they had broken up long before she went on the show. It’s funny how you can can talk trash about Melissa but not Jason. He stooped to an all time low when he went on national television to say he was in love with Molly.
He is SOOO much better than Jason!
