It now seems the whole Wes girlfriend mystery has finally been solved or has it? Coming out in Wes’s defense today is the alleged girlfriend mentioned on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette.
Laurel Kagay spoke out to People claiming Jillian Harris has nothing to worry about when it comes to Wes two timing her. Laurel claims to have been in shock when she heared her name mentioned during the last episode. “I was like, ‘What?’” Laurel, 29, states. “There was this pause before he said my name — and then he said it quite a few times.”
Laurel, owner of Peach Body Boutique in Austin, Tex., however insists she and Wes are just friends: “I’m absolutely not with Wes, nor would I be if he were going on a show to be with another girl,” she says. “That’s absolutely crazy.”
So why did both Jake and Tanner mention Wes having a girlfriend? “And I think Wes did say something about his ex-girlfriend. Maybe he said he still cares about me or whatever. Maybe he talked a little too much about me, and Jake just blew that into something else.” However, Laurel admits, “We are really good friends and we do go out to lunch together, so I could see how people could think we’re together.” Not sure I’m buying this.
Oh but there’s more to Laurel. She has had her fair share of Bachelors as she is also linked to another famous name in The Bachelor franchise – Brad Womack, you know the bachelor who chose no one on his season finale. According to Laurel, they dated for four years.
She has also dated Collin Evans, who was briefly a contender on The Bachelorette season starring Jen Schefft.
I’m not buying this whole we were just friends thing. Wes seems like the slimey type and I think Jillian should have sent him packing. I believe Jake on this one and do believe Wes came on the show only for the fame because he actually admitted to that on a past episode. So I do not doubt for one second that he was dating this Laurel person while pretending to be there for Jillian. This seems to be his lame attempt to save his so called career as a country singer.

She absolutely should have sent him packing. She is just another one of those girls who say they want a serious relationship and yet over and over again pick the bad boy. This is probably why she is still single………grow up!
Wes sucks, she should have sent him packing. Something tells me she will end up picking the wrong man.
Forget even whether he has a girlfriend. He is not attractive and has no depth, charcter, integrity, no redeeming qualities. He spits out Hallmark card answers, probably parts of his songs, instead of actually talking to Jillian and he even gets bitchy with her. When his family said guys are always jealous of him,I wanted to puke. please! He is a wanna be singer, like another 5 thousand people out there so he probably makes little money and never will. But she is crazy for keeping him. He is the classic narcissist. She knows he came on the show only to try to get publicity he obviously could not get by actually being GOOD at music. Isn’t that enough that he did not come looking for a relationship? So, as much of a imbecile plebiscite he is, she is nice, but unbelievably blind. She also said she wants someone who makes her laugh. Wes could put an person on amphetamines to sleep. The only thing he has done to make people laugh is to think he will sell music once everyone knows about him, knows what a waste of space he is.
I started out really liking Jillian…but the last couple of shows she has been IMO making a fool out of herself. Lately I have been thinking her and Wes deserve each other. She obviously didn’t want “the perfect man” when he was head over heels for her…so if she wants to play with the “bad boy”….she’ll get what she deserves.
Hmm… either way, Wes sure was being a weasel about being on the show and getting off of the show!
I started out extremely disliking Wes and I thought he had a cavalier attitude, however he was the only reason I watched the show every Monday night. I couldn’t wait to see what happened since Jillian obviously liked him enough to keep him for so many shows. The other guys were so suspicious of him it was funny to watch. In the end I think he is just a good ole boy that is trying to make it in the business he loves best. Since he never made any bones about wanting to sell his CD’s I don’t believe he lied or cheated or deceived anyone. In my opinion he is the real “what you see is what you get”. I’m not saying that jumping on the bus with the band is the best for Jillian but I do believe she was welcome to go with him if she wanted.
Yes she should have sent Wes packing but she should have done it on week 2. I feel sorry for any girl (Laurel included) who has anything to do with Wes. He’s a liar, is untrustworthy, selfish and a tad scary. I think Wes has taken 1st spot in the most hated person on The Bachelor/Bachelorette series bumping Jason from last season. I like Jason though and do not dislike him for having made the decision he did. He & Melissa were not working and he obviously was hurt when he had to send Molly home. However I can not tolerate Wes and although he did add drama to the show he did not contribute anything, instead he wasted Jillian’s time and took the spot that someone else could have had (like Jake or Michael). Good riddance to bad rubbish is all I can say.
Why does Jillian say she was a smart girl and figured Wes out on her own. Obviously, if it wasn’t for Jake telling her Wes had a girlfriend she would have been out to lunch and would have maybe even ended up with him.
What Jillian should of done on last nights show The Men Tell All is thank Jake for opening up her eyes and warning her about Wes and his girlfriend and not pat herself on the back for figuring it out herself because she didn’t! C’mon Jillian, admit it, you’re not as smart as you claim to be.
It is funny that the very first episode of this season,my Husband and Myself always pick who we want to win. We picked 2,one was Wes and the other was Jake! By the,I think the third week,we said to each other,NO WAY to Wes!! It didn’t take us as long as it took Jillian!
To Sue,I am starting to agree with you about her being a bit foolish! IMO I don’t think there is anyone who deserves Wes!

I believe that Jill made a big mistake when she let ED come back to the show for another chance. That should of showed her that he will do it again. There was three men on the show that was true to her whole heartidly.- Jake, Reid and Kypton! Maybe reviewing the entire picture of Jillian, it is good that she did choose ED – so the three men can find someone that is true to them and know that they dont have to worry about that woman being wishy washy with them.
THE REASON WHY SHE KICKED WES TO THE CURB BECAUSE ED RETURNED.IT WAS SO FAKED THE CAMERA MEN WAS ALREADY THERE WAITING FOR ED’S ARRIVAL.CHRIS HARRISON SAID SHE WAS SOBBING UNCONTROLLABLY WHEN ED LEFT.SHE WAS PROBABLY HAVING A BREAKDOWN.THAT MAYBE THE REASON WHY THE PRODUCERS MADE ED COMEBACK TO THE SHOW TO APPEASED JILLIAN.AND WHATEVER KIND OF DEAL ED MADE WITH THEM IT PROBABLY COST A LOT.THE TRUTH WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT IF THIS ALL PLANNED AND STAGED.WOW !!
She should have sent him packing from day one but because Wes was her fantasy guy she couldn’t let him go.Subconsciously she is attracted to the bad boy.She find them exciting and challenging especially if she knew that the guy has a girl friend the more she liked it especially when the guy chose her over her exes.Her ego needs it. She thrive on drama and controversy.Nice guys and good guys are boring to her.She liked guys with baggage and neurosis.She is miss rationalization and has the answer for everything.Jake knew the owner of the building where Wes is living and he was told of Wes visitors day in and day out. The main reason why Jake had to come back and told Jillian.Wes and Laurel were in it together.She has a history of dating guys who had been on the show, there has to be a reason for it.After Ed came back that was in Spain, I’m sure he told her about Wes intention.That was the time that she got rid of him.Ed manipulated the situation to his own advantage.What a jerk! I still believe that Wes is seeing this girl no matter how much they denied it. IMO Toodles!
