The Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick refuses to be upstaged by his ex fiance, Melissa Ryfroft, as Jason is now saying he and Molly will tie the knot someday. Melissa just got engaged to her beau Tye Strickland this past weekend.
“Things are going great,” Jason said on Good Morning America today, adding that he and Mollly will “absolutely someday” walk down the aisle.
According to Molly, she is also planning to move from Milwaukee to Seattle to be closer to her him. “We’re very happy,” she says. “We’re doing the distance thing right now.”
Molly also says “it’s been great” getting to know Jason’s 4-year-old son, Ty. The family recently went on a vacation to Turks and Caicos.
Surprised these two are still together despite all the public backlash over the way he treated Melissa, but I guess it’s time we all move past that. So good luck to these two.

He’s such a jerk! They deserve each other.
I think I hate him a bit less now tha Melissa seems to have moved on to bigger and better things. I think I mostly just feel bad for him.
I think that Melissa and jason were so cuite with oneanother but jason was not smart about that move, i mean why would you put someone through that exspecially Melissa. Im very happy for Melissa and for you jason you lost a pretty good girl.
As the mother of 3 grown sons, I am thrilled that they all found ‘the love of (their)lives”. It isn’t easy,today, in everday life where some relationships are rushed & engagements are broken. I’m pleased that Jason was able to find his match, & wish them well. I saw, early on, a good friendship in them. Happy that Melissa found someone to handle her & share in her dreams. Ü
I think the Bachelor/Bachelorette thing is hard to understand. They are always going to be put in a very difficult situation. Imagine five guys you ever dated that you thought could be marriage potential but instead of dating them consecutively you date them simultaneously, all the while trying to be true to each of these relationships – to see if it works. Its not just trying to pick which you like best of all the picks and see what works. It is about trying to understand and see what works in each one, at the same time!
I think Jason wanted to make the right decision and knew Melissa would be a rocking mom. But really Molly had his heart – and always did! Almost that he had to lose her to know how much he couldn’t live without her. I think the producers made him break up with Melissa on TV. They want to show the relationship on their terms. As it is, Melissa was SUCH A DOLL that everyone in the US couldn’t help but think Jason was such a jerk for breaking her heart. I think he truly was falling in love with both of them but just differently, like you loved your different boyfriends differently. Hard to know which is better if you are true to each. Best wishes!!!
jason handled the breakup with melissa horribly, i hope he is humiliated in public again and again. molly is fake fake fake. go melissa you are the bigger person here and you have proved it by coming out and not being ashamed of who you are. great luck in you marriage
He proposed on National TV he should break up on Tv. That is what the contract says.This is what happened with a produced date.It is a fantasy date when the scenery is beautiful.candle light dinner. limousine service etc.It is not reality and they tasted the good life on ABC tab. when the show is over and no more camera men are following them around, no more champagne and all the trappings of the show and you are back in the real world eating burger king because you lose your Job to be on the show, and you end up with a woman/man who only liked to show her/his affection when the Camera is rolling what are you going to do?Jason can’t seems to get away from the camera neither is Melissa. In my opinion all the Drama was planned and staged.melissa came out smelling liked a rose and she is the most talented and made the most money plus how quick she got over Jason and how fast her ex comeback to her life and when melissa is out of the contract believe me she is going to pose for Playboy. alls well And I hope they all live happily.
