Rumors are swirling around The Real Housewives of Orange County’s newest couple, Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley.
The first one is being reported by ExtraTV. They claim the relationship between the duo is fake and only made for TV. According to Extra, Slade reportedly approached Gretchen with the idea of creating a showmance. They say his past relationships with other “Housewives” castmembers stirs up some questions about the veracity of his romance with Gretchen. OC fans might recall Slade was previously engaged to “Housewife” Joe De La Rose and then dated Lauri Waring.
The second rumor involves pregnancy. TheDirty website is reporting today that Gretchen might be pregnant with Slade’s baby. According to thedirty, this is based on some buzz around Orange County. The Dirty website has been pretty accurate on previous reportings about the OC Housewives, so this rumor might have some legs to it.
LOL. Here we go again. anything is possible when you have media hookers.lol. I dont really like slade although he is just eye candy or sumthing.lol. If she is good for her, I am sure she will make a gorgeous pregnant woman.lmao. hehehehehe. congrats and all that.lol. the new season will begin soon so I figure it is time to get the media circus going. Slade is such a bottom feeder. I certainly hope he’s not having another child, when he’s not even supporting or visiting his terminally ill son, Grayson.
Only a sick, narcissistic person would walk away from their child like that. I don’t care what went on between the mom and dad. You DON’T walk away from your child, and the fact that the child is ill makes it 100,000 times more despicable. They don’t get much worse than Slade in my book.

why do you talk about things you don’t know or don’t understand? I live in the same building as Slade in Downtown and he is with his son all the time and PS Slade and Gretchen have been dating for a very long time. The people that run the front desk have seen them together for the last 4 months. They are both super cool and very down to earth
It is also odd to me that the press is reporting a pregnancy. If you watch season one and two Slade talkes about having had a visectomy? This stupid prego news is just more crap being made up by the press.
I’m doubt he’s allowed to see his son since he hasn’t been paying child support. I also doubt you live in the same building as Slade. 4 months isn’t a long time IMO, and they are anything but down to earth. Let’s hope they can’t breed.
They were spotted hand in hand today at the Del Mar race track with plenty of cameras following them around.
Slade knows he’s lost whatever fame he thought he got out of the show when he was with Jo, and then the show w/him trying to find her a husband? How fake was that? It was a flop! So, he’s latched onto Gretchen, who is pretty easy anyway, for a free ride, in soooo many ways! He’s just looking to keep himself in the limelight, he loves the cameras! Notice how he always has this stupid look on his face like he thinks he’s so ‘intoxicating’ to the public. He’s just a wannabe celebrity who doesn’t have the money behind him that he led the viewers to believe he had! He’s a total joke, so stop defending this loser! Why does he think we care about him, he’s been arrested for not paying child support and other things, so how can he even go around showing his face like he’s someone we should all be swooning over! No thanks, you’re not all that, not by a long shot!
WHY the heck is Gretchen even on this show when she’s not even married and has never had any kids to raise? She’s NOT a housewife! It’s ridiculous! What are we suppose to learn from her, besides the fact that she is a floozy that is completely whiney and obnoxious and loves to get drunk and hit on other womens husbands or boyfriends? She shouldn’t even be on this show! Why not get REAL Moms who really take care of their homes and families by themselves and don’t run around in outfits like their going clubbing!It’s one thing to keep yourself up and looking nice, but so unrealistic to show these women always running around in clothes that aren’t suitable for just everyday wear! Always showing them dressed up and made-up as if they are going out for the evening! This isn’t reality.
Many of the women on the show are either single, divorced, separated etc., so really from day one, they didn’t follow the “title”. I enjoyed Gretchen on the last season of housewives…..she was vivacious, fun, and polite to all the women. And then along came Tamra and Vicki, two Debbie Downers…..

If it is for real that G is pregnant poor baby…but hopefully is only publicity for the show. Slade is so pathetic he needs to get a job why he is going out with all this girls Jo, Lauri and know Gretchen? I think he likes the attention but it is obvious that he trying to get his image out there. This is so ridiculous.
I was always a Jo fan and really thought Slade and Jo suited each other!! Gretchen is wrong to have done that to Jo but hey! it takes two to tango……so Slade you let a real jem go!! your loss!
