The alleged chokegate involving Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been making recent headlines. Kim filed a police report back in April, accusing Nene of choking her during an argument.
On Wednesday, NeNe claimed Kim was not an innocent victim in the alleged assault, in which Kim claims NeNe “choked her out.” NeNe appearing on Atlanta’s Q1000 radio station said of the fight. “Kim is trying to make it seem like, ‘I need an apology. I’m so hurt’.”
Kim is now admitting to OK! that she did “smack NeNe’s finger” — but insists she did not strike out first. Kim continues, “I was not pleased with the stuff that’s coming out her mouth, but as far as putting your hands on somebody, absolutely not. I didn’t touch her first.” Umm how old are these women again?
Adds Kim, “She put her hand in my face after she choked me the first time, and I smacked her finger out of my face.” This fight was allegedly taped for the show, so it’s safe to say we will be seeing it on Bravo in the near future.
In other news, Nene’s broke husband Gregg Leakes‘s legal records are making its rounds. According to a public search, Gregg has been involved in 17 legal cases in recent years. These cases range from non payment of child support , receiving stolen propery, to writing bad checks.
People with skeletons might want to think twice before choosing to appear on reality shows. Just a thought.

i think it’s sad how these women exploit themselves thinking they will become stars. these networks are using you all as guinea pigs. yes, we all know that FOIL will enable anyone to look up skeletons in their closets. what saddens me is that these women are not good role models for young girls. for those of you that don’t know what FOIL is it’s the freedom of information law. also, the network makes the $$ from whatever so called business enterprise, book, fashion show, record that is promoted via BRAVO TV. it’s in the contract. foolish foolish women.
NeNe, NeNe, NeNe. Well I guess the show is helping you out financially, because this year you have a whole new look and a whole new style. Last year you look broke and boring. You seem to have taken some of the money from the show and got yourself looking a little better this year. You say, you are not keeping up with the Jones, you are the Jones – RIGHT NeNe. Everyone knows homes in the south are less expensive, everything in the south is less expensive. Come up north NeNe and I bet you could not live the life style you currently live,
so don’t pretend you are sooooo rich NeNe. And STOP being so jealous of Kim because she’s got a sugar daddy whose rich and don’t waist any more of your time hating and talking trash Kim. She can’t break up anything that’s not already broken. You were a stripper and probably mad that her sugar daddy did not give you any play at the time.

1000% Agreed! I was thinking the same thing. Especially when Lisa kept bragging about her house. EVERYTHING BELOW RICHMOND VA IS CHEAP AS SHIT. I was like, “um… that house might be a cool mil, but in Northern VA she wouldn’t be able to afford the same house b/c it would be 3 or 4 times more expensive.” And their “downsized” house is probably only 500k, it’s the amount of land her man owns (yes her man since he bought it) that bumps up the price. That’s why people from the North with real money buy investment homes in the south bc they are dirt cheap. I’ve seen townhouses the size of Kim’s going for over a million in Loudoun County, my townhouse cost what Kim’s did so if I bought my house in ATL it probably would have been only 200k instead of 450. But considering none of them outside Kandi make any real money, it’s no surprise they’ve all been evicted.

I read the public record of Greg’s and who would even rent to the Leakes is beyond me.
