We recently reported that Lynne Curtin of The Real Housewives of Orange County received an eviction notice from her landlord, giving her just 3 days to pay up or leave. Well the 3 days are now up, and Lynne has yet to pay up or move according to TMZ.
The reason being? Well it appears Lynne and her husband, Frank Curtin, are now claiming the legal document is invalid because it was served on their daughter — who happens to be a minor.
The Curtins, who rent the home they live in on the show, allegedly owe their landlord more than $12,000 in rent and other expenses.
According to TMZ, the Curtins have now lawyered up with plans to contest the eviction. Their landlord however still plans to re-serve the eviction notice, hopefully to an adult this time.
Something about this story is a tad sad, as it appears Lynne and her husband truly cannot afford to pay the $12,000 they owe. Lynne is one of the nicer housewives so it makes it sadder to see this happen to her. However, I do think people should think twice before choosing to appear on a reality show, that solely focuses on the personal lives of the wealthy, especially if they are not wealthy and cannot afford to pay the rent on their rented home.

Lynne isn’t near as broke as Tamra. The terms of her 40 year mortgage (who has a 40 year mortgage???) were posted on OC Register…wow the Barneys never had a dime to begin with yet they just borrowed and borrowed way more than the house was even worth.

In case you have been living in a cave, people have been talking about how broke Tamra is for quite sometime. One by one these housewives are going broke, so unless you are Tamra why would you care?

The point here is that the story you’re commenting on is about LYNNE. If, just once, you could stay on topic and comment about the story at hand instead of turning every topic to Tamra it would be refreshing. If you don’t have anything to say about LYNNE and HER situation, maybe no comment at all would be more appropriate? If you want to comment about Tamra, all you have to do is run a google search and you can find 10,000 other blogs about her to comment on. Sorry to hear your being evicted sadly to say that people are given shows and potrayed to be rich when there broke and cant afford to rent a house. On the other hand put your daughters to work they live this high and mighty lifestyle that is faker than there tan no wonder rehab centers are so full because of parents like you, they have no control over there kids! good luck hope you find an apartment in local compton.
