Man Sues ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Series

George Page is suing The Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise. George was featured on a previous episode, during which he is seen on a five-minute speed date with Sheree Whitfield in Atlanta.

In the clip, Page is seen telling a(n) extremely really corny joke to Sheree while equally corny music and sound effects play in the background.

TMZ reports in the lawsuit, which was filed last week in State Court in Chicago, Page claims he never gave permission to Bravo to show his face on TV — and was assured by producers that he would be edited out of the show.

Page is suing Bravo and NBC for at least $50,000 for infringing on his Right of Publicity and for causing him “emotional distress.”

Something tells me this lawsuit will not go very far. Reality shows in general, especially the really popular ones such as the Housewives’ series, are notorious for getting release forms signed from any and everyone, before they can show their faces on TV.

They even make sure they get release forms signed from random people in the background of scenes. We should be hearing news that this lawsuit has been dismissed any minute from now.
