The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris and fiancé Ed Swiderski appeared on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday. Amidst all the rumors, the duo seems determined to stay together.

“We want everybody to know we are extremely happy and in love,” Ed tells Ellen, so much that the couple packed up Jillian’s home in Vancouver this past weekend and are officially moving in together next week.

“I’m all packed up and ready to go,” the 30-year-old smiled.

Ed attempted to explain away his alleged bad behavior by saying – “In every sense of the word, I was a bachelor before I went on the show, but I am not perfect. I am a human being.”

Ed goes on to say that he and Jillian have their struggles like any normal relationship and he is sure that fans of “The Bachelorette” would love to know the details, but there are things that should be kept private.

Ed also talked about the two women who started the “cheating allegation” controversy about him in the media. He says, “I don’t know what motivates someone to do something like that. I did have dialogue with these women and I know them pretty well. I don’t know what caused that.”

In other news, Jillian dished to E! News on Thursday at the Rosa Cha show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC. Interestingly, Ed was unable to attend the event with her. Oddly enough, It was Ed’s idea for Jillian to be accompanied by Mike Steinberg, New York baseball camp owner that was eliminated in episode four of The Bachelorette.

“Ed was supposed to be here today but then he couldn’t book his flight,” she explained. “Ed and he have been really good friends since the show. So Ed’s like, ‘You know what, why don’t you have Steinberg sit in for me? That’ll make some great news.'”

Jillian admitted to spending time with the most disliked Bachelor Jason Mesnick and his runner-up, Molly Malaney. In addition, Jillian beleives “Reid Rosenthal, would make an ideal next Bachelor because he’s “a solid package.”

So what about wedding plans and kids?

“I think everybody witnessed that it could be so intense right after the show was over. We want to try to live a normal life and get to the point where we live together and start to come together and then start planning,” she said.

Jillian wants a low key wedding with about 100 guests, couple cakes and a live band. And somewhere in the future they also want babies.
