Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli were joined by Moulin Rouge director, Baz Luhrmannin who took the place of Len Goodman on the Dancing with the Stars panel on Monday’s show. The men and women danced together for the first time performing the quick step, the tango or the jive. These is a recap of the worst and best dancers of the night.

Tony Dovolani and partner Kathy Ireland’s quick step turned out to be a disappointment. “You’re so reserved,” Carrie Ann told her of the stiff performance. “You’re beautiful to look at but you have to be engaging,” Bruno said. After the dance, they were awarded one of the lowest scores of the night.

Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke earned 18 points for their tango — even though the panel had plenty of positive comments for what Carrie Ann called an “oddly well-matched couple.” “I thought you had dignity and grace,” Baz said, while Bruno called the former Congressman, “distinguished” and “determined.”

On the other hand, Bruno could barely contain himself following Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff’s Muppets-themed quick step. “Spectacular, spectacular!” he shouted. They were awarded one of the highest scores of the night- an almost perfect 27 points.

Mya and Dmitri Chaplin tied Aaron and Karina for the night’s highest scores by dancing an exceptional and energetic jive, also earning them straight 9’s from the judges.

Here’s a full list of the scores:
