Perez Hilton is reporting that Bethenny Frankel is not only engaged, but also pregnant!
The Real Housewives of NYC star announced her engagement to boyfriend Jason Hoppy over the weekend, but made no mention of a pregnancy.
According to Perez, Bethenny, 38, is expecting her first child, and might have been hoping to give/sell her pregnancy exclusive to a major magazine.
A source very close to Bethenny claims this was all premeditated for her new reality show. “She got pregnant and got engaged all for her own show,” says the source.
Not sure about that considering Bethenny’s reality show has yet to begin filming. She is currently filming the 3rd season of the NYC Housewives series.

Hmmmm, Don’t know if I believe she got engaged and pregnant for a show….Really? I mean tops what could she get for the show 250,000 maybe, who would make 2 life long commitments for that little of money. I am betting this is just gossip.
At 38 it is time for her to marry and have a family, why can’t we just be happy for her? If it were our best friend telling us this wonderful news we would hug her and say congrats and throw a couple of showers (bridal & Baby).
I don’t see a baby bump yet, but any extra weight on Bethenny at this point would add to her attractiveness. If it’s true, they she must be ecstatic, since her whole storyline the first season was about her wanting to have a baby.
And considering that it’s highly unlikely she’s only 38 yrs. old, I’m sure it’s an even more joyous time for her.
