TLC aired a special episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 on Monday night, which showed Kate Gosselin answering questions from viewers.
Kate answered what she described as “any and all reasonable questions.” Kate made it clear that filming the TLC reality show hasn’t harmed her kids, a claim her estranged husband, Jon Gosselin, 32, made to try to get the show canceled. “They’re not suffering from this,” she said. “The fact that they have these different experiences they need to handle is only going to help them in life.”
Kate also revealed she wants to stay in the spotlight even after her show goes off the air. “I’ve done enough years on TV that I feel like it’s a normal, comfortable, natural place to be,” she said. “I’d love to be in a movie at some point, I’d love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.”
When asked if she wanted to get married again, she answered, “I struggle because I really don’t want to be married,” she said. “Can you blame me?” She admits that single motherhood is tough — “the aloneness is so alone.” But ten years from now? “Nobody’s going to buy into my mess. I’ll probably be alone, but that’s OK.”
She also made it clear that despite her public financial feud with Jon, the kids do have funds set aside for their future. “There is a healthy amount of money put away for the kids, and it is safe,” Kate confirmed. “It will not be touched other than for education. The money is there, come hell or highwater.”

This lady is living in a bubble, and now she would like to be in a movie, are you kidding me. I hate to say this but, she is now a brand! Her brand is a divorced mother with 8 kids who had a reality TV show [and a douche bag for a husband] does that qualify her as an actor? Is that what she does on her show? Act?
I watched the show last night, I had to, had to see how she answered the questions. The questions were lame, you could tell which ones she picked to answer “Do you think you will ever remarry?” “What do you think about the tabs/paps?” TLC got over 9,000 questions and these were the ones she answered. She even spinned the renewal of their vows, as something for the kids?? They are frauds [not the kids, the kids are pawns]
The one word that she said over and over is I,I,I,I I want to be in a movie, I like nice clothes, I like to wear high heels, I need someone to clean my house, I have been thinking its time to change my hair, she mentioned her hairstyle wig out for Halloween, and made sure to say that they the makers of the wig cannot use her name or reference to her/the show, because if they did then they would have to pay her chang ching! Always thinking about the $$$ oh and then you heard a few times, It’s all for my kids! yeah whatever and the kids, they have had all these great experiences, the kids have done more in 5 years than some kids do in a lifetime!
What happens to reality people after the show ends, after their popularity wanes and the still crave the spotlight?
They become people who want to become movie stars?
Kate’s comment about wanting to be in a movie was just plain odd. I think she accidentally exposed a bit too much of herself when she said that.
I was expecting her to say that she’d like to have her own talk show, and that was going to be too much, since everyone and their dog wants their own talk show. Plus, that seemed within the realm of possibility, since there had been some talk of that happening. But she skipped right over that and headed straight to Hollywood. Uh-oh.
I feel a bad moon rising.
I thought Kate and Paula Deen were going to have a talk show? What happened to that?
I love Paula Deen but if Kate is also hosting, I wont be watching.
Kate should do like Jamie Spears…(yes a 16 year old) she needs to take her children to a quite little part of the country and raise them off camera. I shudder to think how those beautiful children might turn out. Kate can say the children are fine and smile, but every experience in life shapes and molds you into a unique individual and these children ARE being affected by how their parents are conducting their lives. It’s a shame.
She can forget about getting any more deals for tv or anything else. I never watched her show, but heard she was an unlikable nag. Granted, anyone would lose their patience with an immature dolt like Jon. All the more reason not to have a litter of kids with him. She should have known to stop at 2. She did it for the noteriety and now the cracks are starting to show. She’s not equipped to raise them alone and is desperate for some kind of outlet to keep her sanity. She has no special talents and a nasty divorce ahead of her. She should pack it in and start focusing on her kids and their behavioral problems.
Note to Kate:
If you have 8 kids, shouldn’t you be home taking care of them full-time? You have atleast another 10 years to play full-time mom. When will you find time to take acting classes and go an auditions and be in movies? And the sextuplets seem a little “slow” if you know what I mean. Perhaps you should spend more time home with them teaching them how to anunciate and read?

You are an attention whore, period. Your only talents are nagging and having babies.
People were starting to side with you after Jon showed his ass over and over, but your incessant appearances on TV and your comments about wanting to be a Hollywood star are swinging the pendulum back in the other direction.
Do the world a favor: take your litter and fade into obscurity. Your children need YOU, not a nanny, not a housekeeper, not a bodyguard or film crew. They need their MOTHER. Be a mother instead of a star or a director and give them the nurturing they need now — unless you’re incapable of it.

Kate is right in saying that nobody is going to buy into her mess. Funny how she called it a mess. A train wreck is more like it. I don’t believe her when she says she’s not going to touch the kids money. When they reach school age she will use the excuse that they are special needs kids and will start tapping into it. I hope an attorney goes after her to make sure that she can’t touch it, just like what happened to Octomom.
Neither one of them wants to spend any time with the kids. From what little I’ve seen of them they look like a bunch of clones and are really bratty. They’ve got Jons looks and Kates personality.
