Ramona Singer is speaking out on the pregnancy of her Real Housewives of New York City castmate, Bethenny Frankel.
Though she and the other NY housewives found out about Bethenny’s pregnancy through the press, she says she wishes Bethenny nothing but good wishes.
“She’ll be a good mom,” Ramona, 52, told US at the Animal Fair magazine Halloween Pet Costume party in New York City. ” I think it will teach her about being more giving, more loving, and about opening up her heart.” Leave it to Ramona to give someone a nice backhanded well wish.
Ramona believes Bethenny and her fiance, Jason Hoppy, who works in real estate, will make great parents and have a lasting marriage.
“[Bethenny and Jason] remind me a little bit of my husband, Mario, and I because I’m very independent, I speak my mind, I have my good sides and bad sides,” Ramona says. “My husband just loves me for me and gets amused by everything about me. I think the same thing [is true] with Jason and Bethenny. Jason’s lovely.”

Backhanded is right! I’m sure Ramona HOPES having a child will make Bethenny more giving and loving, at least when it comes to her. And don’t you know that Bethenny just cringed when Romana compared herself and Mario to Bethenny and Jason.
Ramona can always be counted on to deliver.
I do not think it was a “backhanded well wish”. I think she was saying that motherhood changes you for the better,I don’t know just my opinion.
I think Ramona was sincere. Barfeny will still be the same selfish troll that she is. Finally getting what she wanted which is a baby and husband. Too bad she had to get knocked up to get the husband. She is a gold digger so she can have what the other wives have. She wants the rock, the Hamptons house, swanky ny apartment.
I’m not happy for her. Her pear shaped ring is sooo ugly. She would have goofed on that ring if a NJ,or OC wife received such a tacky ring. Of course she likes the fact that it’s 6 carats, but nobody in NY wears that style of ring. We know how image conscience Barf is.
I hate the wanna-bees like her. I was lucky enough to meet my husband who is a surgeon in college before he was successful. I am lucky enough to have all the perks of living a grand NY lifestyle. Jill Zarin is bogus and phony and an embarrassment without any class. I won’t fault Ramona, poor Alex doesn’t count. The Former Countess isn’t so classy but she can slide.
I respect B being a business woman and making her own money. I am hating on her because she would poo-poo the Hamptons and make fun of the scene when it was so obvious that it’s the life she is striving for. She would never date a regular guy. She is a hypocrite, that’s why I can’t stand her. She acts like she’s so down to earth, but she’s not. The girl who grew up at the stables is a golddigger.
I agree with you wholeheartedly BarfenyHater, you are right on the money. The only thing you may be off on is the fact that her future husband is actually a regular guy, he is a nobody, in fact. I think she needs to find a man like that because who else woud put up with her obnoxious, narcissistic, nasty bitter self other than a nobody who either exhibits similar personality traits; and/or who also is a ‘male golddigger’; and who may also need a lot of control and direction from a strong woman. I don’t that a “real man”, not a metro-type, lost, puppy dog soul would put up with someone as annoying and loathsome as she.
She is a complete hypocrite in more ways than one, and would probably sell her newborn down the river if it would bring in big money. She does not care about anyone but herself. As she herself professes to be ‘just business’. Sometimes when you are ‘just business’ you don’t have a genuine heart and I believe she fools all of her ’sheeple’ fans who follow her. She is like Leona Helmsley in my book, extremely business savvy but that’s about it.
And she is more of a phoney than any ot the other real housewives, because as you say she really strives for the wealthy, socialite lifestyle that she herself would be the first to poo-poo. At least the others are phoney and they don’t hide from it. Bethenny really is a piece of work. Too bad the people who are in love with her have no minds or real lives of their own and have to live vicariously through a pseudo reality star who is laughing all the way to the bank on all their backs!! You should all be ashamed of yourselves!!

No one is jealous of Bethenny. Look at her. Her face is trapezoidally tranny. And she has bulimia cheeks–despite the implants.
If she was a nice person, we could get past it, she’s not. Even Jason doesn’t like her.
