Jon Gosselin and girlfriend, Hailey Glassman have broken up, according to Extra. A source close to the couple confirmed the news to Usmagazine. Just two weeks ago, both Jon and Hailey were spotted taking a romantic, PDA-filled carriage-ride in New York’s Central Park.
In a recent interview, Hailey revealed that she felt “emotionally abused” by Jon and that he is prone to “mantrums.” “I don’t know why I love him,” she said.
“They broke up the day she did that interview,” the source tells Us. “She told me it was gonna be over. She was just waiting to let him go.”
A couple of days ago, Jon announced that he was seeking spiritual counsel from Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. He admitted in a statement that he got “carried away by the challenges of fame” and yearns to “reconnect with my deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self.”
While Jon is seeking spiritual help, we have a feeling that Kate Gosselin is having a funfilled day.
Update: According to Usmagazine.com, Rabbi Shmuley advised Jon to end his relationship with Hailey. “I have advised him to end it with Hailey,” Shmuley tells the Post. “It is unacceptable to be in a relationship when he is still married and has to take care of kids who are hurting. It is not a healthy relationship.”
In addition, Jon plans to proclaim his severed ties with Hailey during a speech at the West Side Synagogue on Sunday. “Jon will either be remembered as a man who cheats on his wife and is intoxicated by fame, or a man who has fought to redeem himself,” Shmuley says.

My guess is that Jon dumped the hawk-beaked skank as soon as he heard the contents of her interview. Exactly why did she do that interview and betray Jon that way? Oh yeah, that’s right — for her OWN 15 minutes of fame. Jon’s no prize catch and she knew it. She did him for the notoriety and publicity.
UGH. I’m sorry. There’s not enough money or booze in the world to make me sleep with that loser. Hailey Glassman is a whore and breaking up with Jon Gosselin won’t change that one bit.

The answer is no, of course he can’t redeem himself. Since he left Kate, he went through a string of women who all have said he chewed them up and spit them out. Not that they didn’t deserve it. Then he raided the family bank account and left a zero balance. For that alone he should face charges. He went against a court order not to touch it. Then his lawyer drops him b/c he even made him look bad. The guy is tv poison and his life is a shambles. Instead of apologizing to the public for his adolescent behavior, he should apologize to his kids for being a poor role model and absentee father.
This has nothing to do with redemption and everything to do with Jon using a rabbi to try and repair his shattered public image.

I would also like to add, Jon let fame get to his head. I am still wondering how women find anything remotely attractive about an ugly man whose married with 8 kids but apparently there are plenty of women in Jon’s case who found that attractive!
I believe that as soon as Jon started getting attention from women after his family show airing, he totally jumped to the chance of sleeping with as many young women as he could. Then he began thinking he was the Sh*t and along with his inflated ego, kept picking up more and more women -women who never even hit the tabloids. All those women were much younger and apparently the sex wasn’t good enough with Jon so they all moved on.
Jon is disgusting. His reputation is Sh*t. This whole spiritual counseling thing with the Rabbi is nothing more than PUBLICITY for him and a way for him to repair his public image. I’d advise he start on his herpes medications and start disclosing all his newly found STD’s to all is future “younger” women. He’s disgusting and he needs to keep his di*k in his pants so he doesn’t have a ninth, tenth or eleventh child anytime soon! He already can’t take care of the ones he has!
