More details are being revealed about the recent $5 million lawsuit Jon Gosselin filed against the TLC network.
According to RadarOnline, Jon claims the reason he refuses to go out and get a regular job is simply because he is too famous. Yes you read that right. In an affidavit filed as part of the lawsuit, Jon states: “Now, I find myself unemployed and without the ability to secure non-entertainment related engagements because the enormous Media interest, cameras, reporters and public interest makes it impossible to carry on normal daily activities, let alone find, secure and maintain a job with an employer who is willing to be exposed to the daily Media intrusions that has impeded by life.”
Other claims made by Jon in the lawsuit include his claims that TLC staged some of the scenes for Jon & Kate Plus 8. Staged scenes for a reality show? Shocking! Jon also claims TLC likes Kate more then they like him. He states the network enforced the contract, “strictly and harshly towards me, while leniently, if at all, applying them towards my wife.”
In other news, the National Enquirer also published a story claiming Jon has a sex tape floating around. Stephanie Santoro, Jon’s former babysitter with whom he slept with, said the following — “Tom told me that Jon was secretly videotaped having sex with a woman in Los Angeles in October, and he’s seen the tape!” The Tom she is referring to is Thomas Meinelt, Jon’s former bodyguard.
Jon’s reps have however denied the story about the sex tape.

What kind of person claims he’s so famous that he is FORCED to perform before cameras in order to make a living? The biggest stars of yesteryear, who were truly actors and actresses, have never made such a ludicrous claim.
Essentially, Jon is arguing to the court that his contract with TLC should be void, while at the same time his lawyer, Mark Heller, is claiming that it IS null and void. The gist of Jon’s claims is that he didn’t understand the first contract when he signed it; that TLC violated labor laws; that TLC cut Jon off from the media, thus rendering him helpless to earn money for his family; and owes him $175,000.
I’m not clear why he thinks TLC owes him $175,000, unless it’s because he thinks he wasn’t paid enough with the first contract he signed. Is that the case? Few employees receive the huge bumps in salary Jon and Kate received from TLC. Their first contract started out at $2,000 an episode and by 2008 had jumped to $22,500, while being paid $45,000 for a whole hour.
What’s glaringly left out of Jon’s claims and accusations is that TLC was going to continue to pay him his full salary after they changed the name of the show to ‘Kate Plus 8′. This little fact renders him so very, very lame, not to mention STUPID.
The most mealy-mouthed of Jon’s claims in the court papers is when he expresses his outright jealousy of Kate, saying that TLC gave her opportunities while restraining him. Gee, wonder why?
As for the sex tape, one was bound to surface. Even worse news is out about his cocaine use, the drug that landed his Hailey-Girl in the slammer.
I’m so sick of Jon Gosselin,Kate Gosselin,this stupid law suit how “famous” they both think they are, how everyone owes them a life. It’s so freakin’ stupid and annoying already Enough! Who Gives a #$%^
If there is a sex tape, it was probably orchestrated by a celebrity blog site. He is so easily led astray. He agreed to a $2000 paycheck to start to expose his kids. What’s his problem again??? The LAST thing he gives a crap about is how this is effecting his kids. The judge handling this case will put the final blow to his ‘celebrity career.’ He will be lucky if he’s not picking up cans on the side of the road, which is what he deserves.
