The final episode of TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8 will air tonight. During the final episode, fans can expect to see the estranged parents of eight go on outings with the kids separately. Jon Gosselin takes the kids to a fire station near the family home in Wernersville, Pa., while Kate Gosselin takes them to a local dairy farm.
Jon and Kate both reflect separately on the events of the past few months and what the future holds for them. The last few months have been a roller coaster ride for the separated couple. A couple months ago, TLC announced that the show will be renamed Kate Plus 8. This never happened as Jon refused to let his kids appear on the show saying it was detrimental to the kids.
“Kate Plus 8 is not in production,” TLC spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg said Thursday. “We are focusing on the launch of Kate’s new series in early spring.” No other details were available.
In other news, RadarOnline is reporting that Jon & Kate’s divorce should be finalized before the year is over. The main issue holding up the divorce was the division of the couple’s assets. A divorce arbitrator will divide their assets by December 21.
The couple met face to face on Saturday for a divorce arbitration meeting, during which Jon decided to bring flowers for Kate. Jon, the classy guy that he is, made certain to tell the press he brought the flowers for Kate as a peace offering. Kate however did not accept the roses and a source familiar with the situation told Radar, “She was disgusted by Jon’s actions. She sees right through him.” Can’t say we blame her.

They’re obviously not going to go away if Kate has her own show. I guess she got what she wanted. The last thing she wants is to spend time at home with her kids.
