Last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County brought us the long awaited confrontation between castmates, Tamra Barney and Gretchen Rossi.
Tamra wanted Gretchen to admit to wrongdoing, and Gretchen wanted an apology from Tamra. In a new interview with RadarOnline, Tamra opens up a new can of worms as she once again bashes Gretchen and her boyfriend, Slade Smiley.
Tamra refers to Slade as a “douche bag”, and referred to Gretchen as “always lying,” especially about the allegations that she was cheating on her dying fiancé Jeff Bietzel. Tamra then upped the ante by telling RadarOnline: “I challenge you, Gretchen Christine Rossi for a lie detector test. If you pass, I will forgive you.”
The subject then turned to new housewife, Alexis Bellino, whom Tamra claims to actually like. “I like Alexis,” Tamra said. “I think so far she’s a really good match with us, she seems to be very sweet.”
Really hope Tamra Sue’s getting paid for these interviews, it just seems rather catty and unnecessary.

Tamra needs to get a life. Who gives a rip what Gretchen did or did not do? Why does Tamra feel she needs to sit in judgment of Gretchen? Give me a break! Is she so perfect? I think it all boils down to the fact that Tamra is extremely jealous of Gretchen.
Tamra is up to her usual white trash, low class ways. Just keeps digging a deeper hole for herself. She is the most hated housewife for a reason, because her insane obsession and jealousy of Gretchen is just old at this point.
I am glad Gretchen is finally standing her ground and not taking Tamra’s crap. I am not a fan of either woman but at least Gretchen is a responsible adult who takes better care of her dogs than Tamra does of her kids, she is the worst mother.

I’m backing Tamra on this one. Gretchen is a gold diggin’, lying beotch who needs to explain her naked porno internet pictures taken when Jeff was sick in the hospital. Jeff’s children need to know exactly what type of person their father was with – especially since she inherited $2.5 million from his estate that should have gone to them! Lizzie, I think being a neglectful, drunk mom is WAY worse than being a gold digger. You can’t even compare the two. Those poor kids don’t stand a chance at a normal life.
Ryan is a perfect example of her mothering, he is a mess.

Tara: Drinking in front of your kids doesn’t seal their fate. Is Tamra immature still playing drinking games at age 40? Of course, but let’s face it, alot of our parents drank in front of us as kids. We had a bar in our house for crying out loud, yet all of my parents 6 kids hardly touch alcohol.
Tamra’s son is an adult now. At what point is he responsible for his own actions? I don’t see the kind of serious character flaws in Tamra that I see in Gretchen.

Gretchen might be able to get a man who loves her looks or newfound money, but she will never find anyone who loves her for being a decent human being. She’s too self centered to be a parent. The fact that she condones Slades actions as a parent should tell you something.
It doesn’t appear to me that Tamra is jealous of Gretchen. They are at the same level looks wise and Sludge is no prize. I think she just truly despises her as a human being and doesn’t want to be around the creepy energy/vibe that Gretchen emits.

They engagement ring was a ploy to get a big rock on her finger that she could later pawn for a rainy day. You could sense the revulsion Gretchen had when she was forced to kiss Jeff. I saw on one episode where Gretchen had dragged Jeff to a jewelry store and pointed out some expensive jewelry and said “I want that!” in her best childlike voice. It was revolting.
Gretchen enjoys taunting people like Tamra who knows she’s pathological, but is banging her head against the wall trying to prove it regardless. She will continue to laugh her off while blowing through that dirty money. BTW, what do you think of the pictures?
Which ones? There were so many. I think she has really poor judgement and obviously trusted whoever took them. I do think the person who posted them on the internet is worse, who does that?

I don’t think the pics prove she cheated though, most of them are of her joking around with guy friends. The naked ones are of her alone so we don’t know who took those.

Tamra is the only housewife who pimps out young kids, Lynn’s girls of (one of them a legal adult) are old enough to make a decision for themselves as to whether to be exposed on reality tv.

What I’ve noticed on this blog is there are a few people that come out of the woodwork whenever there is a story about Gretchen. They will rail against Tamra for exposing Gretchen’s past indiscretions, but fail to look at what those indiscretions are. Why turn a blind eye to it? Why cry foul against Tamra and not Gretchen also???
Here are some of the reasons I’m aware of why people hate Gretchen
1. Pictures of Gretchen is various stages of undress, sometime’s in the company of that pig Jay, taken when her fiance was dying in the hospital.
I’ve seen pictures of her bowling in a thong and bra, w/ vibrators on a bed, naked in a car… the list goes on.
The fact is there are no pictures of Tamra in compromising positions on the internet. I have no reason to think she’s a skank like Gretchen is.
2. Gretchen’s is a serial cheater and gold digger. She abandoned her fiance in the hospital to take up w/ a sleazy con man, then accused him of stalking her, filed charges against him, then failed to appear in court. Then she moved on to another con man, Slade, the broke, deadbeat, hired stud who has been passed around between the housewives more than a deck of cards.
The fact that Tamra has been in a long term marriage shows that she is capable of having some stable relationships. Gretchen seems like the kind of woman who has no lasting friendships or relationships.
3. Gretchen uses Slade as her mouthpiece to avoid direct attacks. She can’t fight her own battles. She has to go running to either Slade, her mother, or the other housewives for backup.
So far, it seems like Tamra has fought her own battles. I don’t see her running to Simon for help. Simon is a controlling, jealous malcontent. He treats his wife like an annoying kid sister. I would divorce his ass pronto if I were Tamra. I think he’s driving her to drink.
Even though Tamra is a boisterous drunk, she has more credibility than Gretchen IMO. I don’t think the age of the housewives kids matters that much. Gretchen isn’t a true housewife. She’s an interloper who F’ed her way onto the show, and her fortune. Why do people, esp. other females, like this woman?

Tamra is a classically beautiful woman. Her flaw is trying to look too much younger with the botox, face fillers, too-blonde hair with too many extensions, age-inappropriate clothes, etc. It isn’t working for her. She should look to women like Julianne Moore for inspiration.
Gretchen has amazing hair, eyes, and body. But she has one of the worst cases of horse-mouth I have ever seen. It totally detracts from the rest of the package. And, I’m sorry, but she and Slimey are total grifters – a match made in heaven.
Even though all the ‘OC housewives’ are totally full of crap and should be shunned for all the reasons mentioned above, you have to agree it is still one of the best reality shows on TV!
