They have chosen to live their lives portraying that image and I don't see anything wrong with it. Who cares? I honestly never looked at Italians any differently (better or worse) after watching all the seasons of the Sopranos. The cast of Jersey Shore is a little young for my entertainment but I still don't think they are all gun toting mafia children either.
