@Rio – I agree with you that the husbands went to Florida to keep an eye on their wives. But I also believe that Donn can only take Vicki in small doses. He might be a mouse but he’s not dumb.

Totally agree with Vicki!. It was a “Girls Trip” The husbands/boyfriends that went were ridiculous. They are VERY controlling of there wives and are insecure that their wives will do something they are not supposed to. Obviously Vicki and Don are not insecure and they trust each other to be apart.

Oh My GOD….I can’t believe I side with Vivky but I do…is it so unusuall that girls or guys for that fact want to get away and just hang out with each other….men and women alike can let their hair down and have some good clean fun without their partner. I think Don and Vicky have the most normal relationship of all…although I think Vivky has some serious control and insecurity issues…Alexis and Jim are sickening…they are so fake and I can not stand them she is such a tool and he is just a sleezy guy with money who bought a cheep dime store wife and gave her some tits and a nose job…oh but I forgot she is a christian…..oh really…..thats a good one…..and although I don’t like Tamra ( I don’t like any of them) shame on Vicky for reveling her confidences…girlfriends should be able to vent without worrying about the friend reveiling confidential vents to the spouse they are venting about….or does Vivky never get mad at Don and tell a girlfriend…oh thats right she just belittles him in public and laughs as though it is a joke and not hurtful…..they all need therapy…

I’m totally with Vicki on this. I almost fell off my chair during the ep in which Jim Bellino said he “wouldn’t allow” his wife to go to Greece on her own, as if she were some brainless twit who couldn’t be trusted or wasn’t smart enough to travel alone. Vicki said from the start it was “girls only” but these guys are too insecure to stay home. Apparently the truth is none of these guys trust their wives to be away from them.

My guess is Vicki didn’t want Gretchen to go so she didn’t ask her. The producers probably had to invite and include her.

Simon and Jim probably made a stink about being left to take care of their kids so they got to go as well. Lets face it, Slade isn’t really ‘one of the guys’ and is probably uncomfortable in all male situations. I think they sense he has ‘tendencies’ and it makes them all nervous. His thing is to rip on the women to gain acceptance from women haters like Simon and Jim.

Somebogy needs to tell Gretchen it is ‘should have’ instead of ‘should of’ and explain the use of plurals to her. I can see why she would be a pole dancer if not for the show. They ‘should have’ dropped her by parachute on Vegas along the way.

I dont know what the truth is but it seems multiple people involved had a different view than Vicki. Gretch said she never was even invited by Vicki.

Since I didn’t get a chance to blog about Florida I want to clear up something since the show this week starts out with Vicki saying “thank you” to Donn for not coming to Florida and that it was supposed to be a “girls only” trip to Florida. That was never the premise that any of us “other women” were aware of, and to be clear I was never personally invited by Vicki to Florida. Being that we are on a show that takes up most of our time and a show that requires us to travel at times, it would only make sense that our significant others would be with us on some or most of those trips. The men coming on this trip should of never been a main part of the storyline and it got blown way of out proportion due to Vicki wanting to make a stink about it. Vicki for goodness sakes opted to go out with another couple the same night we all went on the boat trip (thus still being the third wheel as she professed she was absolutely NOT going to be with us woman on the boat.)

I am not a fan of Vicki, but in this instance I have to say she had a right to be upset. They all knew it was a girl’s trip, suggested and planned by Vicki. I don’t believe that Alexis when she says she didn’t know, everybody else knew. If Tamra and Alexis knew their husbands didn’t want them to go without them, then they should have declined the invitation. But, of course, Bravo wouldn’t want the women to act like they have manners and know how to handle an awkward situation so that is why they invited they guys. Unless Simon, Jim and Slade are complete morons, they knew Bravo wanted controversy and since they wanted to assert their neanderthal characteristics (and get more screen time) they were happy to accept.

Jim and Alexis are Christian? No where in the Bible does it say women are to be subjugated and controlled like cattle…wait, it does. But that means someone WILL be turning into a pillar of salt, West Hollywood will get bombed from the sky, and someone is going to commit infanticide.

These guys are disgusting sexist relics, and Tamra: YOU ARE BETTER OFF WITHOUT HIM!! He is controlling, unkind, and treats you like property. WTF?! You wouldn’t accept that treatment for your daughters. Don’t accept it for yourself. Simon is bitter, caustic and unhappy with his own failures.

Alexis – You have full natural rights under God, the Constitution and everybody! The traditional Christian couple celebrates each gender as God made us. Neither is above the other. Each has inherent value. I hope you’re not being abused physically, but honey, honestly, there’s a reason why cults were popular. Controlling men try to say God granted them power bigger than what you can conceive. A man is sexist if he puts his own wishes above your own, as a matter of principle. Don’t accept that. No matter who he claims to be getting the word from.

Traditional values = do unto others, respect for what you don’t understand, and love and compassion. Not ego, misogyny and warping a sacred text to suit centuries of prejudice against women. To be far to Simon let me play devils advocate for a second.

He seems to imply in his blog that a housewife from the show messed around on one of these so called girls only trips. It also seems like there has been some meddling in to his marriage by a housewife.

If your husbands wanted to go away with a guy known as a guy that cheats on his wife on guys only trips and a guy that has meddled in your marriage would you like him to say that he was going on a trip with this guy and that you were not allowed to come along
