Kate Gosselin might be one step closer to having to work a regular 9 – 5, as RadarOnline is reporting she has been axed from a new TV show that she shot a pilot for because the executives thought she was too controversial.
Kate shot the pilot for the show back in September. She was to be one of the several hosts for the Momlogic TV pilot. She joined Food Network star Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff and former Early Show co-host Rene Syler. The show, which has been described as The View for working moms (umm isn’t The View for working moms as well?), is said to be on life support and will likely be canceled all together.
It is however still on schedule to be sold at the convention where TV shows are pitched, but an insider said there is little chance it will make it. A source close to the situation told Radar that the high-level executives believed Kate was too controversial for the show and didn’t think she was ready for a full-time hosting job, even as part of a panel.
This unfortunately does not mark the end of Kate on television. As we reported earlier, TLC is developing a show for her, that should debut sometime in the spring. The concept of the show has yet to be made public, but TLC is reportedly very committed to the new show.

Sorry, but I really do not see what is so great about Kate Gosselin being so talented that she would be on a show with Paula Deen, and the other Ladies. I mean ok, she had 8 children, was on a reality show, and she authored at least one book along with a friend that she no longer speaks to( I don’t know she if has authored any more, don’t care really). What really is so great about her? Why do “they ” think she is so talented/interesting? This is just my opinion, I don’t get it, I don’t get her
I’m not a big fan of Kate. I find her to be disingenuous and manipulative. I also do not know what talent she has to be on TV. Maybe I’m wrong though because Barbra Walters said she thought Kate would be around a long time in the TV industry
A lot of people do not like her. Including me.
She pimped out her kids and went on and on with the show even though her marriage to Jon was faltering. Money became more important than her marriage and her kid’s. If they couldn’t afford that many children they should have put some of them up for adoption at birth so that they would have loving homes with attentive parents instead of a media circus.
I’m not blaming her for the end of the marriage, but she should have seen this coming and moved earlier to protect her marriage and family.
I dont blame them for taking the money but there has to be a line somewhere and I think Kate crossed that line a long time ago and many times. I sometimes see the 2 older girls snap at each other or their dad just like Kate.
Good thing she renewed her Nurses license.
Dyana, you are right there is absolutely NOTHING interesting about Kate, Barbara Walters called her one of the most influential people of 2009?? Yeah I don’t get that one either. I don’t find her entertaining, interesting, fun, I just keep remembering her yelling at him, both parents should be ashamed of themselves, look at what role models they are for their 8 kids.

I don’t understand why everyone is so against Kate??? If you were in her shoes you would try to be successful as well. As far as her malipulating Jon, isn’t that what most wifes/women try to do? So succeed, some don’t….we all want things done our way. I think she is a very strong woman who has the courage to stand on her own. She could be out there whining about how he cheated and so on but no she is out there trying to make a living and a new life for her kids. What is Jon doing? Running around with young girls trying to be 21 again. Before you are so quick to judge, honestly ask yourself, what would you do in her shoes? I think she is taking Jon leaving her very well. Kate I wish you all the success!
Would you want her as a wife or mother?
Wife-to me she held the house down. With 8 children you have to be structured to get anything accomplished. I have twins and I wish I could be as organized as she is.
Mother-She cares enough about those children to make sure you can still provide for them and stay in the home they all love. Why should you move them to another house and disrupt what little they have left that is familiar to them?
Lori, Kate does stay home. She has nannies take care of the kids, while she goes off to make TV pilots, interviews, go to Starbucks, shop. So, I’m guessing she doesn’t care.

Lori I usually see the good in most people and try to give people the benefit of the doubt often but I’m afraid the Kate you posted about only exists in her public relations resume. I watched the show. I have seen how nasty and manipulative she can be. Jon has mad his share as mistakes as well but years went by where people were shocked how much abuse he took from her. Now her 2 older daughters are snapping at people just like she does. The backstage people at multiple tv shows have spoken about how nasty she was and uncaring she acted before the light when on the camera there.

Lori, Kate was cheating on Jon with her “bodyguard” a long time before he started chasing 20 year olds in short skirts. Kate likes to play the long-suffering wife, but it’s closer to the truth to say she got what she deserved.
