Despite having 10 cosmetic procedures in one day to improve her look and help boost her career, Heidi Montag has failed to capitalize on her new face and body.
The 23 year old star of The Hills may have set a record for album sales and not a good one by the way. UsMagazine is reporting that Heidi’s album, Superficial, has sold less than 1,000 copies in it’s first week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Industry sources tell UsWeekly that the album, which was released on Tuesday, has sold only 658 downloads to date. This should be upsetting news for Heidi, who lied told Entertainment Weekly that she went broke making Superficial but thought that “within the first week, she would definitely make her money back.
Heidi claimed she spent almost $2 million making her album. She told EW, “I put every dollar I have into this. I’ve spent over $1 million, almost $2 million, on this album. It’s cost as much or more than a Britney Spears album because I wanted it to be that quality… The songs will make an impact in pop history.”
