The finale of the 2nd season of For The Love of Ray J aired last night with 33 year old Mz Berry aka Connie Deveaux beating out Platinum to win the heart of Ray J, or did she?
The question on everyone’s minds is are they still together? The answer to that seems to be NO, coming from Mz Berry’s new interview with VH1. According to her, she and Ray J have barely made any contact since the show finished filming months ago. The winner of the show and the person looking for love are usually discouraged from contacting each other, as not to give away the show’s results, however in the past shows, it has been very common for the two to stay in touch and see each other if they really wanted to.
In other words, Ray J could have made an effort to see and contact the winner of his show if he was genuinely interested. Plus the following photos of Ray J were snapped of him and an unknown lady back in October 2009. Ray J can be seen hugged up and kissing the lady, who has been described to us by sources as being his 20 year old girlfriend. According to the source, Ray and this girl have been together for a while, and were together the entire time he was filming the 2nd season of his show.
As we also previously reported, Ray J broke up with season 1 winner, Cocktail, just so he could do a second season. By the way, he finished filming his second season in early October. The two lovebirds were snapped leaving Hawaii after a vacation. These photos were taken just a week before his show was set to premier last year. The good news is we do get a Reunion show, so it will be interesting to see what Ray has to say about his “relationship” with Mz Berry.

How has communication with Ray been since the show wrapped?
Really, Ray and I aren’t allowed to speak to each other. We aren’t allowed to meet or anything like that.
Do you have a good feeling about where things are going?
We just have to see. You can’t really base on everything that happened with us three, four months ago. I wouldn’t say feelings change, but you just have to see. In any type of relationship, you just take it one step at a time. We’ll definitely both talk about what we want, and we’ll see where it goes from there.
Are you excited to see him at the reunion?
Yes, very excited. I’m a little nervous, but very excited.

I knew the show was a fake, however it pulled me in and it was very interesting to see. Something everyone has to realize is that what is on t.v., is never real. Even if its a reality show. Come on now! How can it be so hard for Ray J to find a girl that he has to do one of these shows! Of course it was only for money! Get real!

I’d say after watching the reunion episode AND from 1 mature women to another – Mz Berry, allow your experiences and wisdom to win over on this one and not your heart because after seing Ray J, his actions, responses towards uncertainty about possibly making the wrong decision on letting Jaguar go home, his blatant disrespect for women in calling Cocktail a bitch, his seing the other women after the taping of the show and not you, and the rumor of him having another girlfriend, I’d say all this is proof enough that he’s not ready for a mature, classy, woman like yourself, who is ready for the real thing. Also, although you have feelings for him, it’s only been a short period of time and you really don’t owe him anything nor do you have any real time invested in that situation. All he cares about is “Ray J” – He obviously only did the shows for publicity, he didn’t care about any of the girls accept for getting in their pants, that is just who Ray J is and even his mother said so and backed him on it ( in so man words)! I feel sorry for Mz. Berry. She had so much, and lost it all to one gamble, “for the love of Ray J”. It was more for the love of money! It was not worth it!
