Well well well, it seems there is good reason Jon Gosselin is wanting to settle his current lawsuit with TLC. As we reported this weekend, Jon is now willing to allow TLC to film his kids again as long as they drop their current suit against him.
TMZ is reporting the Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad wants to settle because he is simply too broke to fight TLC over the breach of contract lawsuit the network filed against him.
According to sources, Jon is not doing well financially, especially after TLC won an injunction last December prohibiting him from violating the non-compete clause in his contract, meaning he can’t make money by doing things he normally does – such as selling photos to magazines, being paid to appear on other shows, etc.
RadarOnline is also reporting that Jon has actually been talking to TLC about a settlement for the past 2 weeks. Apparently the only way TLC will agree to settle and drop the lawsuit against him is if he agrees to abide by the terms of his contract, no questions asked. TLC is reportedly wary of agreeing to this as they do not trust Jon.
In other news, Jon’s ex wife, Kate Gosselin hit up New York city this weekend and showed off her new shorter cut (she visited a hair salon earlier in the day). According to RadarOnline, she had dinner with a mystery man. Kate will be back in NYC March 11, as she is scheduled to guest host The View again that day.

who in God’s name is cutting this poor woman’s hair – she can’t get a decent haircut to save her life!
I think she looks great, the other style she favored for years was TERRIBLE…..this style actually makes her look younger. I’m not a Jon or Kate fan…but she does look MUCH IMPROVED
She still looks like a poorly-groomed dog. She should have let her hair grow out and shaped it periodically. Those extensions look like they’re made from synthetic polyester fibers!
I agree, Lizzie – the extensions are really cheap and fake looking – but the haircut is horrible – looks just chopped off at the bottom – no movement, no shape – somebody needs to get her to a professional stylist – stat!
She will keep trimming these extensions until she is back to the rabid possum look
well good for him that he gave in to tlc i guest he thought he can do anything he want like a normal guy would but it seem like tlc but him in his place lol when they slap him with a court order for him to own them money back and it look like kate is doing good with her life and at least she can do what she want and jon can’t and why well i’ll tell you why, pay back is a b**ch that why. that what he get frombreaking her heart in public now it look like she has the last laugh and he don’t because it just went from a smile to a sad face. and if he apologize to her and the kids i wouldn’t accept it at all simply because he might want money in which he don’t have so ha ha ha to you jon because that what you get.

I can’t have any kids though for no 1 can find my needed equipment w/o a microscope & I know I’m a Blubber-headed disgusting loser & most women run when they see me up close. (I wish I were kiddin) The best dream would be to live your past life & have your looks for just 1 day. I was so jeolous of you then. Turn your life around while you still can.
