American Idol fans tuning in tonight will be in for a surprise as the Top 10 male finalists will be performing instead of the girls, as originally planned.
The reason being top 20 contestant Crystal Bowersox was rushed to the hospital. A source reveals to UsWeekly that Crystal, 24, is recovering from diabetes complications. “Crystal is doing OK and should be fine for tomorrow,” said the source.
A FOX rep confirms that as a result, the guys will compete on tonight’s show, and the women will perform Wednesday.
The bottom two guys and two girls will be cut from the competition during Thursday’s live results show.
