Josh Waring has been arrested yet once again reports TMZ.
Josh, son of Lauri Waring, former star of the Real Housewives of Orange County was arrested on Friday for battery on a spouse or significant other and false imprisonment. Both charges are misdemeanors.
According to TMZ, Josh was taken Central Men’s Jail in Santa Ana where he is being held without bail until a hearing on Monday.
This isn’t the first or second time Josh has been on the wrong side of the law. He was arrested back in June 2008 for possession of heroin and ecstasy and intent to sell, and then in July 2009 for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Unfortunately that doesn’t surprise me. When watching her on TV you can totally tell that she chose chasing after rich men over raising/disciplining her kids.
Soooo…he STILL hasn’t gotten his act together? Not surprised at all.
Totally agree with Lauren. Apparently being a reality TV star and going to Playboy Mansion lingerie parties was more important than making sure you were home with your son during his formative years.
Gabby-I agree and kids even with 2 parents at home still get into trouble, its a kid thing that you look back at when you are an adult and you say, what was I thinking?
It may be a kid thing, but Lauri wasn’t around much…she was too busy trying to go out and meet men and then when she found George, it was all about him and his money.
@Whatup – Yes, kids are individuals and can end up screw ups no matter how well you discipline them. But with Lauri it was obvious that she was busy acting like 21 yr old with no responsibilities instead of being a parent. How are you more worried about what you are going to wear to a playboy mansion party than being worried about the fact that neither of your adult children are in school and/or have a job?

i had read awhile back that he was in prison for 3 years. guess not.
he needs to consult with Slither Smiley since he clearly knows about effective parenting.
@ Lsuren – respectfully, I disagree. She got OFF the show to concentrate on her family. From experience, I can tell you that no matter how good a parent you are, your kids will make mistakes.

I don’t know the personal details of their relationship but I remember that when he was leaving the (alternative?) school he needed a place to stay and was begging his sister to let him stay at their moms townhouse. Lauri was living in George’s house and wanted nothing to do with her older kids. She even said on camera that the only one that hadn’t let her down was her youngest. My heart broke for them, I don’t understand how one can be a mother and just abandon and ignore her kids. I never saw her encourage them to do anything (career/school) and seem really annoyed when they needed her.
Ya’ll she left the show to “be a good mother” to her younger children so they did not turn out like the P.O.S two older one’s she has currently. While I can sit here and blame her all damn day it is not gonna do any good what is in the past is in the past she made a HUGE MISTAKE and wanted to go out and find a “rich man” to ” take care of me and give me the rich OC life” like I DESERVE (Oh Laurie this is BS NO ONE deserves to live the OC life) and just when both the older kids NEED her to be there for them as that is when they were young and starting to become teens and really did not know right from wrong. No she chose to go out and party and ignore them and well look what happened to them son in trouble with drugs and the law and a daughter who can’t get her act together and floats around and around not going to college and getting a good education and then a good paying job. However Lauri you are another sorry excuse for a mother to open your personal life to a reality tv show and expose your children to the world. Please have some common sense if not for the childrens sake. How are they going to grow up with a normal life?
Lauri may have said she was leaving to focus on the kids but that’s not the case. Her ass was a crapy mother with 2 ex husbands under her belt & a problem child on her hands by the time she got on the show. The way she’d just take off & leave those kids to fend for themselves was in-freaking-credible. The fact is that George was not one bit happy with all the attention he was now under because of the show. Remember how he even threatened TWOP with lawsuits if they didn’t take down all the nasty comments people were leaving about him, Laurie, his shady businesses & his messy ass divorce? (If I’m not mistaken, this was the first time TWOP shut down the boards too.) His wanting her off worked just fine for Lauri as used the show for exposure, vanity & as a way to land a rich bitch & it worked. That’s why she no longer needed the show. What for? So we can all rag on her shitty parenting, money & lifestyle obsession & start pointing out she’s aging worse than a Louis Vuitton purse & George drops her for a 20yr old “fan?” She may be shallow but she ain’t stupid. I just feel bad for the son: the charges are getting more & more serious with each arrest.
This kid is headed for an early demise (can you say Corey Haim?). He really didn’t have much of an upbringing and it was way too easy to get involved in drugs, especially with the kind of money he had at his disposal.

George and Lauri feed off each other – both dysfunctional to the core. No way did they leave the show to take care of the family, that’s been proved. They left b/c George’s life was exposed. Check out Ashley’s twitter page. Partying, drinking, and just like her Mama – spending George’s money. Only reason Lauri has custody of Sophi-A is for revenue received via child support.
This is interesting. I too, heard from Lauri herself about the drug use.

Like father like son. We watched for years Josh’s father’s addiction to drugs and alcohol and witnessed the black eyes that Lauri had from time to time. Not to mention the numerous police cars responding to 911 calls of domestic violence when they lived in our neighborhood. This is not a surprise at all. History unfortunately does repeat itself through generations and time ALWAYS delivers the truth. Father is a royal loser. Was recently fired from his job at Sysco and now selling natural foods.
if i recall correctly, josh was still a teen when he was asking his mother for financial and emotional support, in other words “save me” but she straight up abandoned him. i never understood why women bring children into the world that they are not finanicially and emotionally capable nor ready to take care of, you should be able to take a bullet for your own children, at least until they graduate from college, but she couldn’t even help and motivate her teens to go to school and better their future. just sad
I agree with what everyone is saying about lauri’s complete lack of parenting or even life skills but this “kid” is now 21 so when does responsibility for his life shift to him?
This is for Help me Rhonda He should have been taught these skills in the early teen/late teenage years and then he would have been prepared for the young adulthood years so he would know better and be able to figure out right from wrong. She just frickin gave up on him and went out and partied trying to find a “rich man to give her the OC life” that she HAD TO HAVE !! (Some part of me wishes now that she would have ended up with Slade damn it all anyway !!)
I just started watching RHOC from Season One and this is really sad because you can see how much Josh’s younger sister idolizes him.
Guess Josh is miraculously delivered from heroin and Ashley doesn’t have an issue with alcohol.
The Peterson’s will be back on Bravo. Filming began today July 24, 2010. Either they landed their own show titiled “The Peterson Project” or they will be back for S-6 on the Housewives. Either way, all I can say is how pathetically selfish these two middle aged people are.
It’s stupid – really stupid for Lauri and George to expose kids who obviously have issues for their own narcissistic, egotistical obsessions.

Gawd, I love Ecstasy. Good choice if you’re going to do drugs, but bad choice if you want to end up in the slammer. Don’t sell it, just do it! No seriously, I knew Josh was going to keep up on the self destructive route. He even admitted to it in the episode where Lauri had him meet with the addiction specialist lady. He may or may not eventually recover from this self destructive streak. My brother is a psycho-therapist who deals with teens and young people who are exactly like this and much, much worse. I won’t even tell you the horror stories he has had to deal with. I wish Josh the best and same with Lauri and George and family.
