The Amazing Race finale aired last night with three teams vying for the top $1 million prize. In the finals were the cowboys, the models and the brothers.
So who came out on top? Well after a long race, which ultimately ended at the Candlestick Park in San Francisco, the Pious brothers, Daniel and Jordan (pictured far right), came out on top of the competition. Coming in a close second were the cowboys, which consisted of brothers Jet and Cord McCoy from Tupelo, Oklahoma.
The models and dating couple, Caite Upton and Brent Home, came in a distant third after having some issues with their imcompetent cab driver. The models however put the nail in their own coffin when they forgot to take their money and other items with them after leaving the Star Wars challenge, thus having to turn back around. That basically put them out of the competition.
The best part of the night came when model Caite attempted to apologize to the lesbian team, consisting of Carol and Brandy, only to have Brandy snap back at her. “I don’t want to hear sorry from you. You purposely whacked us,” said Brandy. Caite however handled the situation well, replying, “I’m the one standing here and not you.” This didn’t exactly come as a surprise because even in their post show interview, Brandy and Carol continue to hold a grudge.
Another controversy from the finale came when the Pious brothers cut in line, in front of the cowboys, at the airport. A number of fans feel this was a dirty move. Fortunately, it didn’t seem to matter, as the brothers were able to move up to first class during their flight to San Fran, thus putting them in first place.

Congrats to the winners but the finale left my family and me heartbroken! We love ‘the cowboys’ and their wholesome, happy demeanors. CBS seems to have no problem with reality show crossover so we are hoping they will pop up somewhere else.
I loved the cowboys. That was an unfair move by the brothers something that the cowboys would have NEVER done. They are the true winners in my book. They had the most 1st places in legs of the race, they were the 1st team in Amazing Race HISTORY to come back from a speedbump and get 1st place. GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cowboys should have kicked those bums in the nutz, for cutting in line……btw…What is the point in playing by the rules on these shows, if some a-holes can cheat and not be punished for it? The producers let down those competitors that play fair by allowing low-life pieces of sh*t to abuse the rules. Shame on them!
…and don’t get me started on the airline stewardess who let those punks move up into first class…wtf….who gets that treatment….especially considering first class tickets costs more to purchase and this was a competition for a million bucks!!!Total BS by the producers and airlines!!! That show finale was amazing for all the wrong reasons!
UGH!!! Jordan and Dan won fair and square. Get over it people!
Getting in front of the Cowboys DID NOT change the outcome of the game. I don’t see anyone getting upset with the Cowboys did at the Star Wars tasks……yelling so Dan couldn’t give directions to Jordan….HUMMMM…..love the self-righteousness!
Lastly, there is NOTHING in the rules books that Dan & Jordan had to stay in coach..there clearly were enough seats so the Flight Attendant said they could move. I am sure if the Cowboys and Brent & Caite would have thought about it they would have done the samething!
