In what seems like deja vu, the Jersey Shore cast is once again in a widely publicized contract dispute with MTV, all regarding the third season of the hit show.
Despite the fact that the 2nd season has yet to even air, TMZ is reporting MTV is ready to begin filming a season three. However, the cast is very unhappy with their contract situation that they refused to shoot scenes for the upcoming third season until they get a better deal.
According to TMZ, the cast was supposed to begin shooting “at home” scenes yesterday for the third season, but JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D and Vinny ended up telling the crews they weren’t shooting without new contracts.
Snooki and The Situation are scheduled to shoot today, and Snooki will reportedly be following in the footsteps of her castmates, while there’s no word yet on what The Situation plans to do.
The reason the cast wants more money? Well the first season was a huge hit for the MTV network, bringing in higher ratings than The Hills plus sources close to the cast tell TMZ the cast feels they can make more money doing appearances for two months, rather than filming the show.
RadarOnline is also reporting Angelina Pivarnick will not be returning for a third season. Famous for leaving the show early last season, she reportedly did the same again while filming season two in Miami.
Angelina explains why she left the show to Radar, “With all of the people in the house getting physically violent with each other, and all the diva personalities on- and off- camera, I just knew that I’d be happier if I left.” She added, “The working conditions in the house were pretty brutal, I can’t get into details, but you’ll see it all, I’m sure, when season two airs.”
Has The Hills ever had a contract dispute? No b/c MTV is gonna pay them what they deserve! Why does Jersey Shore have to fight with MTV? Give them their darn money, plain and simple!
These are kids who have made the producers a great deal of money.
Skeletal production costs.
They have a right to make as much as they can while they can.

I am tired of seeing FOOLISH people get paid to ACT STUPID ON TV and GET PAID for it.
Some people work HARDER THAN ANY OF THESE FOOLS and in some states they cannot strike.
I am over the Jurzee shows: Jerseylicious, RHONJ, Jersey shore, Jersey Couture, etc. They promote bad behavior and not everybody in Jersey is like that.
NEXT WE’LL HAVE DANIELLE WITH HER OWN SHOW….WOULDN’T THAT BE INTERESTING?
These people are lucky they got the first offer from MTV. They have no talent, no education, they fight, they’re crude, the whole lot of them look like a living billboard for STD’s.

I don’t blame them. Some of those guys make 9 grand for a 4 hour club appearance so why make 10 grand an episode that probably takes about 12 hours to shoot?!
It’s no different than a top salesperson at a company bringing in double digit increases yet his comp package stays the same.

MTV you can find a million other guidos to take their places, let them go anyways it would be nice to meet a whole new batch of guidos, BUT MTV you will never be able to recreate the 1st Jersey Shore so move onto a new geographical location
