We said a while back that you couldn’t make these things up, and folks you simply can’t when it comes to the Bravo housewives. Just a week after showing off her lavish unaffordable mansion in InTouch Weekly, Teresa Giudice’s luxurious home items have now been officially listed on an auction website to be auctioned off on August 22nd.
The website, A.J.Willner Auctions, specializes in auctioning off home items of the rich and morally bankrupt aka Teresa and hubby Joe Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, who can been seen bragging about their lavish lifestyle on the show, filed bankruptcy to the tune of $11 mil in debt back in October 2009.
And not only does the site list Teresa home address, and a time for the auction, 12:00pm for those interested in stopping by, it also posts the photos of items set for auction from Teresa’s home. Oddly enough, a lot of the items pictured, including Teresa’s stainless steel gas range, flat screen TV, and crest leather & fabric sofas, were all featured in her InTouch magazine home spread.

Yes, even the bed Teresa sleeps on will be auctioned off. Not sure if it gets any more humiliating than that. Unfortunately for the Giudices, their problems have only just began.
As we reported last week, Teresa and Joe are now being accused of perjury by their bankruptcy trustee John Sywilok, whose responsibility is to round up the Giudices’ assets and distribute the proceeds to creditors.
John alleges in court documents dated June 30 that the couple failed to list profits from several business, including Teresa’s clothing line TG Fabulicious LLC, a pizza parlor (which was shown in the most recent episode of Real Housewives) and her cookbook, Skinny Italian, which he claims was written prior to the bankruptcy filing.
The Wall Street Journal also reveals the Giudices are accused of undervaluing some of their luxury items in their bankruptcy filing, including a pool table ($1,000), wedding bands ($400) and living room furniture ($2,000). Like anyone would believe their wedding bands cost $400.
Jim Kridel, an attorney for the Giudices, however tells PEOPLE his clients are innocent of any wrong doing and he plans to object to the filing in court, saying they did not hide sources of income.
“The contract for Teresa’s book was signed after the bankruptcy petition was filed, and all money was received post petition,” he says, adding that the Giudices are legally allowed to freely spend money earned after filing bankruptcy. “If she knew the recipes, it doesn’t take four years to write a cook book,” he says. “It’s not a Mary Higgins Clark novel.”
As for the pizzeria, Kridel claims it is owned by Joe’s father, and therefore should have never been considered an asset at the time of the filing. What’s interesting is that Teresa said during last episode of the NJ Housewives that Joe owned the pizza parlour.
And when it comes to the book fiasco, Teresa is likely lying about that as well, because Teresa wrote in one of her Bravo blogs back in June that her book, Skinny Italian, went to press before Bethenny Frankel’s book, The Skinnygirl Dish, came out. This was Teresa’s attempts at fending off rumors that she copied Bethenny’s book.
So let’s dig a little more into this. Bethenny’s book came out December, 29, 2009 according to Amazon. Teresa filed for Bankruptcy on October 29, 2009. So according to Teresa, she signed the contract for her book, finished writing the book, and was able to get it to press, all within a 2 month span?! Well, we call BS and say it’s highly impossible unlikely. Plus one also has to wonder if Teresa is being made fully aware of her financial troubles. Showing off her home in a national magazine two weeks after their trustee filed documents to auction off her home items just seems surreal and downright moronic, but then again…

UPDATE - It seems the items listed on the auction website are only the featured items of the auction. A whole lot more of Teresa’s home items will also be auctioned off including all of the beds of her kids, all of the TVs in the kids’ bedrooms, toys, games, books, and even some of her baby’s items including the crib and rocker. Even her refrigerators and jewelry will be auctioned off.

Talk about a hot mess!!
First, Teresa says on the show that she is living in a 5 million dollar house. I want to know where she came up with that number.
Second, I would love to read an interview with her parents. I heard Gia told a friend in school that Her grandparents live in the basement of their house and Grandma does all the cooking and cleaning, even washes floors on her hands and knees.
So what does she do when the cameras are there? Does she lock them in the cellar so they will not be seen?
So what do you guys think about all this?
The other thing that Gia spilled was that Mommy didn’t write the book and the recipes were grandmas recipes. She said there was another lady at the house who was writing the book for her mommy.
And the last thing I heard was Gia is tired of doing all the interviews for the commercials and shows but she does them because her Mommy and Daddy need the money.
So that brings up another item. Why isn’t the money Gia made for modeling counted in their income seeing that they got the money, not Gia.
Its a great way to find out the truth. Talk to the little ones. Gia will tell you anything, if you just ask her nicely.
She said her living room furniture cost $2000? Dude we ALL saw her shell out $20,000+ for 2 (two) couches!!! The government should throw them on the streets. Lots of people have to file bankruptcy but they don’t lie about how much their possessions cost. I’m soo glad the b@tch is getting what she deserves. Those kids are nightmares now and have the WORST parents imaginable. They are screwed for life!!

I really feel that you can be the entreprenior of the family.
You have given birth to four beautiful children, you home is immaculate, and you only thought of putting your family first.
All women really and trully do not envy you but admire you.
My personal feelings are that you should be on the View in a permanent capacity. I would then watch the View more than never.
You have class and you have a wonderful family and no matter what you have gone through even in this economy, you yourself have shown that you have the power to overcome anything.
I recommend that you go for a postion on the View, because I feel the rating will improve.

For all that it’s worth, forget about the blasts from everyone. Welcome to reality tv. Just get through this rough patch, keep your heads up and take care of your babies! You have good friends and they will help you both through this. The view ladies were harsh but that’s what they are paid to do. Ignore the blasts you got from that show. Those woman also have their demons in the closet that no one knows about. Poor marriages, husbands cheating on them, ppl skimming money off them as well. As I said, take care of your husband and babies. Your blessed with a beautiful family. Take care, believe me, things will get better, it might take a long time but it will. I fail to see how the sale of four little girls beds,(crib), is going to even make a chip in an eleven million dollar debt.
I do see the benefit of allowing them the security of going to sleep at night in a familiar place.
Have we really become such animals that we are rejoicing in their misfortune as well as their parents?

That house and it’s contents are a monument to everything excessive and ugly (as well as excessively ugly). They should burn the place to the ground and buy off the IRS with the insurance money. The property is probably worth more without that cartoon castle mucking it up. Even in this economy their acreage might fetch $5 mil. That particular area of N.J. is some of the priciest square footage in the country. But let’s face it, no one in their right mind is going to want to live within ear shot of Teresa. That voice! Every time she opens her mouth to utter some ungrammatical inanity, the neighbor’s property values plummet.
These folks need to loom up the truck and move back to Paterson!

This is what happens when you do not tell the whole truth to the Bankruptcy court. Had they listened to legal counsel and followed the hard, stringent rules, the entire contents of their home would not need to be sold in a public auction. Lies beget a
difficult and harsh reality.
Do I feel sorry for Joe and Teresa? No. Had they been 100% honest, I would have compassion. They children? They also clearly need a wake up call.
After they endure public humiliation, perhaps they will understand the concept of humility and truly being grateful. Their entitled attitude, along with their lack of intelligence, has done them no favors.

The really sad part of the Teresa and Joe story is that they aren’t even smart enough to learn anything from this. I wonder if T is going to be able to find a place to live that she doesn’t sceeve (not sure how to spell it).
As far as taking the kids bedroom sets and selling them, right on. Those furniture sets are very expensive, what are they going to do move that oversized expensive furniture in the apartment over the pizza place and continue to live above their means. The kids aren’t going to go without or sleep on the floor… the parnets can always pick up bunk beds at Walmart.
Teresa, everything that happens, happens for a reason, the Lord our God is givng you a chance to turn your life around. You must remember that we can only build in heaven with the good deeds with do on earth. Monetary and material things mean NOTHING in the next life. Lets be generous, humble, kinds, loving, forgiving or other and be greatful that you get a chance to make things right while your children are young and you can pass that on. These little girls will look at you for examples in life and you are a strong girl, soon you will find out that you do not get your strength from material friends. You get your strength from Jesus. Remember God loves your children more than you do and we know you love them will all your heart. Let know one judge you, we all make mistakes and you don’t have to make things right for anyone. Hello Teresa, hope you read all these comments. I only started watching this show 2 months ago. I really like you and your family. I am sorry for what you are going through. But let me tell you something. america loves a come back story. they love people who make mistakes and are able to learn from them. Pick themselves up and move forward. I understand the humiliation is too much, but do not let this define you. You and Joe have to own up to your mistakes and as they say “when a defining moment comes around, you define the moment”. don’t let this bankrutcy humiliation forever define you and your family. You don’t want to be forever remember as the bankrutcpt housewife. First and first and foremost, I don’t want you to quit from the show and make this some private affair. Everything is already so public that a public approach will be the best way to proceed. Most housewives quit the show after filing for bankruptcy. Be the first to stay on the show and say yes I made a mistake and I am ready to turn around. People will talk and gossip and make fun of you but guess what people will have more respect for you if you put a positive spin to this. Many families in america are going through what you are going through. The difference is that yours is all on TV and Magazines for the world to make fun of. Please swallow the pride and make positive changes. You have a show and therefore a voice. You have a lot of fans though it may seems like all is against you at this time. Take a new approach. Call Suze Orman or any other good financial advisor and let them work with you. Not privately but on the show and follow their advice. I love Suze Orman and I bet you she can get you guys out of this mess and if you can come out of this, people will respect you and I bet, everyone will tuned in to watch you make that come back. I bet you, Bravo will get more ratings if you choose to put a spin on this and let the show televised your down and rise. this will be a better story line than the danielle story. Teresa, I wish you the best and listen to my advice. Don’t quit the show, call suze orman and with Danielle gone, let the new season be all about your great come back from bankruptcy.

“Those were grandma’s recipes”…well duh…they’re probably family recipes…I highly doubt Teresa single handedly invented pizza…all of my italian recipes were passed down from my mother and grandmother…so those recipes were probably her mother’s first and I don’t think anyone cares about that…someone had to teach her to cook…

I have defected to team Danielle. They have treated her so bad. I think that she has handled it with dignity and grace.

Im not sure how anyone can claim to be “Team Danielle.” Even if you dislike Teresa because of her poor financial situation, I’m not sure how people can be so harsh and I have a hard time believing that any person in their right mind would then look at Danielle as “classy and gracious.” If you don’t like Teresa- then you should say you think poorly of the BOTH of them, because I promise you there is NOTHING classy about Danielle Staub. I am all for giving every person a chance, until they screw it up on their own. If you have no real knowledge of the history of the show and the women’s characters, then I suppose I could understand flipping through the channels, stopping on Bravo and saying, “aw, that poor woman is hated by EVERYONE.” But sometimes you must question why things are the way they are. I worked in the TV world and I can tell you that producers love drama and controversy so what you’re seeing is feeding your anger. Again, I ask everyone: why do you watch this show if you hate these women so much? I hate the real housewives of Atlanta…I watched 2 episodes and couldn’t stand those women so now I can’t even tell you what their names are. So I ask again: why do you watch this show?
First off, learn something about the TV world…secondly, change the channel if you can’t deal with it…

It’s true what Teresa said “if they lose it all, they can build it back up again”. They are young and healthy with a lot of drive and ambition, I know they will be fine.
Although I am not a fan of Teresa’s bullying behavior, I think her daughters are adorable and it is tragic that they may have to give up their home. It must be very confusing for the children to experience such an extreme lifestyle. Cameras in their faces, commentary on their behavior and the confusion of possibly losing the stability of their home. By the way, the early pictures of Joe and Teresa look very handsome. Joe looked like Ray Liotta!
Money can give people just a little coat of varnish, but can’t transform who they really are… Hopefully now the Giudices are gonna be back where they belong… Poor spoiled rotten kids!!!
About the reunion: I’m 100% with Danielle. The Manzos, Giudices and Lauritas have their private lives covered by the same stinky mud they acuse her. We just don’t know the details… But Danielle do – You go, girl!!!

Why is it seemingly not important that while Joe and Theresa get a “new start”, WE the TAX PAYERS are going to be picking up that 11 MILLION dollar bad debt?

I think that Teresa’s husband is a sweetheart! He could not help that his wife spent over their limits. When she saw the family business slacking a bit, she should have made the decision to cut back a little instead of being concerned about what the standards of others were. On the show, the tab for that furniture was well over 2000 dollars! Again, I think her husband is gorgeous and just wants to see his wife happy. AWESOME CATCH TERESA!
Nothing is funny about losing a home when you have kids….I just hope and pray the family can make the lifestle adjustments to recover form these tough economic times. About Gia: until we can produce a perfect child, no child should be ridiculed for learned behavior.

That said: Theresa is a disgusting piece of work. She is beyond scary and cannot control herself. The clip of her trying to go after Danielle shows what a loose canyon she is, and I wouldnt want my children any where near her, her children or that house. Her husband may or may not come from money, but one thing is for sure: its been proven that money does NOT buy class.. only ass.. and he ended up with the biggest one.

Seriously.. 13 pages of inventory (lots can be 10 items to 100 or more in an auction) and has been rescheduled for Oct 3rd – I hope the trustee does get them for fraud and puts her ass in jail. I am not buying that Teressa did not know her financial situation. Why do you think she was paying cash for everything. She knew that they were in debt and they were hidding money.She just did not care. Carma will bite you in the A** every time you badly focus on someone else (Danielle). I am surprised that people feel sorry for these folks. I am not saying that you should be mean, but they hid monies from the courts. They lived beyond their means and kept spending even when they knew they wouldn’t be able to pay. IF YOU BUY SOMETHING AND KNOW YOU CAN’T PAY FOR IT, ITS CALLED STEALING!!!
If you want to feel sorry for someone, feel bad for the people and businesses that just got ripped off….
Really they should willingly move sell their junk to pay their billls and take any job possible. Thats what honest people do.
