More drama on tonight’s episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, titled ‘Youth Will Be Served.’
Danielle Staub’s youngest daughter Jillian prepares for her big break to be debuted at her sister, Christine Staub’s Sweet 16 birthday party. But when she expresses a few insecurities, Danielle encourages her daughters to put themselves out there…whether it’s performing a song or pursuing a career in modeling; does she push her daughters too hard or is she being a supportive mom? It also seems Jillian and Christine’s father aka Danielle’s ex-husband, Thomas Staub, will make an appearance on the show tonight.
Also celebrating a big occasion, Teresa and Joe look forward to their 10th wedding anniversary. With all of the rumored money issues that the Giudice’s are experiencing, will Teresa get the diamonds she’s been hoping for or will the celebration be a letdown? Find out tonight at 10/9c on Bravo.

In other news, another day, another new unflattering story about Teresa Giudice. The NYPost is reporting today that the broke Real Housewives of NJ star, who’s home items will be getting auctioned off next month, demanded $3,000 to appear at a charity event for abused women.
The Post reports a manager for Teresa said she would only appear at the July 19 New Jersey fund-raiser for Strengthen Our Sisters if she was paid. The event organizer told the Post, “Mike Esterman, who books her appearances, said . . . she would not show up unless she got paid. I explained this was for a shelter for women and children. He said it doesn’t matter…Danielle Staub, her daughters, and Lori Michaels came for free.”
Esterman however attempts to defend his client Teresa telling the Post, “I made it clear I only handle her paid appearances, and the fee is $3,000 and a car service. I said charity events have to be agreed by Teresa personally, and they should reach out to her directly.”
In other Teresa news, a new scandal is brewing in the form of Pizzagate. It all stems from Teresa’s comments during the last episode of the NJ Housewives during which she mentioned that she buys frozen dough to make her pizzas.
The only problem? It just so happens that Teresa has a dough recipe in her cookbook Skinny Italian, for what she calls the “best crust in the world!” This is leading some of Teresa’s fans to question the honesty and integrity of her book.

Although this does not excuse her behavior, I don’t think she knew exactly what was going on. I have a feeling she does now. Once her house was cataloged of all of its faux finished items, and it becomes empty, she will really know what is going on. I think she was given a stack of papers and told to just sign them, and told it was just business papers. How many women read pages of legal papers stacked in front of them by husbands they trust? She has said that the bankruptcy issues were business, and not personal. It is possible that her house is not in foreclosure because I believe that your primary home is not taken in a bankruptcy as long as payments are made. When she was laughing and telling Joe what happened at the country club, and how she responded to Danielle’s foreclosure announcement that camera went to him, and he had a smirk on his face like, “You have no idea what is going on, but I am trying to hide it as long as I can.” The fact that he bought (where was that on the list of auction items) that ring is ridicules, and he is spinning out of control. It is probable not on the list, because it was probable returned, or reported stolen. Joe as probable told her it is bankruptcy on one or two of their LLCs.

Joan @ 120, thanks for the post. It sounds like Ashley is speaking well of Christine and Jillian but talking about their Danielle. She appears to be speaking on how Danielle’s children have a good relationship with their dad and stepmom, but keep mute about it because Danielle is not cool with it. Remember last season, Ashley and Christine were friends and I believe they went to the same school, so it does not surprise me that Ashley would know about that relationship. Quite often, teens confide in each other before they go to their parents. At 16, I thought my mother was a punishment sent to me by the Gods. I was wondering if she and my dad would divorce so I could be like the other kids I knew. Hate to say it, but I felt like the weird kid because I came from a 2 parent home. I wanted to move in with my divorced aunt, I thought she was cool (LMAO). My mother did not take any mess and she did not hesitate to put the smack down. By now, she would have smacked Ashley, Teresa, Jacqueline and Danielle and dared them to breath in her direction.
Without the Danielle vs Manzos, nobody would watch the show. Every reality show has some type of drama; it just so happen that RHONJ is Soprano-like mixed with All my Children and/or One Life to Live minus the murders.
There are three sides to every story. We don’t see the real truth because the show is edited to created drama so that the viewers would watch.
When RHONJ first came on, I didn’t think it would get a second season because there was no excitement until ‘the book’ and Teresa flipping the table. Without those two elements, there would be no Season 2.
Since Danielle is an actress, I wonder if she was hired to bring the drama onto the show.

I don’t know what to say about Teresa and her husband anymore. Whining about wanting a big gift when you’re losing your home is so childish. Her Italian Father needs to do a little ass kicking.
Danielle’s daughters are absolutely beautiful girls. That 16 year old is stunning. That was nice with the dad and stepmom.

My husband owns a business (a small one) and I work full time and have 3 children to support. With the economy we barely scrape by some months and have decided that only our kiddos get birthday presents, as for my husband and I, we will give each other a day off from housework, yard work etc and a nice quiet dinner at home for our birthdays and anniversary. I can’t believe that Teresa would basically demand a big gift when they have no $ and a huge amount of debt. Either she is stupid or in denial or both.

Many have asked, “Who is Gwen?” I’d like to address this. Gwen was a poster on Lynn Hudson’s blog who went under the moniker of Cleo’s Mom. When Gwen posted a comment not in line with the “mob think” of LH, she was blocked. Because Lynn posts her email address, Gwen emailed her and asked why?
Gwen received a profanity laced, accusatory email in reply which she then posted on a blog she decided to begin writing in response to her treatment at the hands of LH.
I was posting on LH at the time and emailed her and asked what was going on? Lynn Hudson replied stating that Gwen is a bi*ch who altered her email to her and posted it. I thought to myself, how awful of this Gwen to do this.
Gwen unfortunatley writes a blog not many can agree with. She loves zarin and kelly and hates bethenny and alex.
What Gwen does not get is that people have to at least feel a level of identification to post to her blog and that there just are not enough people who wish to say kelly is not crazy and that mccord is hateful. So she fails. Had she just written a blog about lynn and her rantings, she might have gotten a blog or two out of it.
Well, there came a time when I challenged the hateful nature of the blog and questioned the invasiness of it’s posters.
Not only was I blocked, I am in receipt of emails from lynn hudson that are so insidious an insane that if I were to post them, no one would believe their content.
The accusations are that of a “Caligula” accusing me of impersonating Alana Chandler and others. I mean truly PARANOID DELUSIONS.
She then hacked my cell number and began calling me from a blocked (and then switched to “unknown” number) at 3am and at midnite and at dawn and called repeatedly over three days forcing me to make a police report out. She called a total of 33 times.
I know, if I were to post her ranting emails, she would just say that I altered them. Trust me, these are in lynn’s voice.
Lynn also threatened my job, not only in her VM’s left, but her emails.
What she failed to understand is that I own this firm and that she was calling and harassing not only the CEO, but the phone account of a business enterprise.
Her take ON HER BLOG is that she called me at work and I shook in my boots.
What won’t this pig do to protect her image as freedom fighter when all she is …is a pig of a creature who threatens her own posters with their jobs when they fall out of favor with her and a liar and a coward.
Funny, how she has left me alone since she has been admonished to do so.
Anyway, she is no longer pushing Reality Tea as a website to go to…The Admin whom she describes as a GOOD FRIEND of hers.
And she is killing the abusurd website with her advice to go there….WHY? Because lynn…you have hogged all the blogs for too long. You think you are so wonderful and your shrinking base can continue to control all thought. You cannot and will not.
Personally, RT has colluded with lynn for too long also.

Bob and Tweety – glad you both are okay and get that there was humor (phew). You both are a riot!!! It’s funny. -I don’t write in that often but I read all the time. Sometimes I see something that is cracking me up and then I realize someone gets offended.
Its so hard to be funny on email, blogs, etc and things can go unintendingly wrong. (I once wrote something funny/saracastic to my dear, dear, amazingly lovely father years back and my mom relayed months later how hurt he was. I was devastated when I found out I caused bad feelings between us. Devastated. Ugh.)
I raise this all publicly because most everything on this site is insightful, informative, snarky and funny and a place to bear out feelings about our own social workings or situations we are thinking through in our real life. Sometimes I sense that things can maybe get a bit heated, or a bit maybe unintendingly hurtful, between bloggers here, on occasion. Some intended (a little smack down), but mostly its all fun and banter. I love the snark and jokes and laughter this site brings. LOVE IT. And it feels bad when someone gets hurt or goes after someone when I think often no harm was intended. So I am glad when things are peaceful.
You all are my community of sanity! I love it here. Just saying..
LH sounds like a total looney tunes or as we say in the south, a little touched in the head LOL. I have seen her blog a couple of times and it is way too stepford wives for me and anyone who disagrees with her gets to be exposed to her crazy behavior and on top of that I see that she sends her posters here, her comprehension skills are laughable LOL. Get some help LH, you need it.
Between reading the posts on this topic and the broke ass Theresa topic it just makes me laugh at the poster “regulars” who get their undies in a twisted bunch when other posters “gawd fawbid” have something negative to post about the everso wonderful Manzo’s, Laurita’s and Guidice’s! The regulars acuse these posters of personally attacking these faux celebutards. Yet these “regulars” post the most vulgar things about Danielle.
Oh the hypocrisy of it all and oh the heat I will receive for this post!
Oh and how boring are those Manzo “kids”. Albie is going to be bald and watching them in their home gym is like watching paint dry!

Big Brown @ 228, I don’t think anyone will give you too much of a problem because you ended your comment expecting one. You are entitled to your opinion as is everyone else. If you don’t like the Manzo’s, Guidice’s or Laurita’s, you are free to express it. That is not what usually sets people off, it is the vulgarity and viciousness of some of the comments. A lot of time, things get really out of hand and that takes the fun away. The fact that we all feel so differently makes it interesting. I consider myself a regular and I say you do you.
So I’m assuming that the little trinket that Joe bought (stole) for Teresa was after filing the bk? Danielle’s daughter Christine is certainly the spittin’ image of her dad. It was obvious she didn’t look anything like her mother but it was interesting to see how much she looks like him. I was a bit surprised that he and his new wife actually appeared on the show. After all, they could have attended the event and refused to be on camera. I hope it doesn’t turn out that they, too, have a hidden agenda. (lol)
One thing I felt that I did not need to see last night was Teresa straddling Joe on the bed. Was it just me or did I hear Teresa say in one of the interviews that if Joe didn’t get her something big there would be no sex for a month. Or something to that effect. Whether she was serious or it was meant to be a joke you know what…TOO MUCH INFORMATION.

I have heard that Christine and Jillian really like being with their dad and stepmom….problem is the felon doesn’t like it. The girls are mature beyond their years. I am sure circumstances that they have been exposed to, courtesy of their mother, have, in fact robbed them of their childhood. What I don’t understand is why doesn’t Tom Staub have those children? I have to say the truth…those girls are far more mature than Ashley Holmes.

I have read Lynn Hudson’s (Hudsen?) and Gwen’s blogs and both remind me of trolls that were run off from mother boards and debate boards that I frequent. I love RT because of her lighthearted writing and her posters because they are informed, polite and protect their own from trollish posters no matter how many disagreements they have had with one another.
I know this is a very old subject but I think Kim G has demonstrated why it would be difficult to cast a housewife who is sympathetic to Danielle. She is only capable of taking from a relationship. It looks like Angelofdevs was correct when she tagged Danielle for having an antisocial disorder
