Dancing With The Stars Recap: Jennifer Grey Earns First Perfect 10s

With only two weeks left of competition, things continue to heat up on Dancing With The Stars.

For the second week in a row, Jennifer Grey and Brandy tied for first place.  Jennifer however had a slight edge after earning the first perfect score, a 30, of the season for doing her rumba instant dance.  And though there were some complaints about the change in rules last night for the second dances (the couples did not receive their music until about 45 minutes before they had to dance) it seems most of the stars excelled under pressure.

Tying for first place with Jennifer was Brandy, who also received a total score of 57 for her two dances.  Brandy and her partner Maksim first received a 29 for their waltz. “It was like a symphony – it was like a poem,” gushed Bruno Tonioli. The duo then received a score of 28 for their cha cha instant dance to Kate Perry’s “Teenage Dreams.”

At the bottom of the leader board for the second week in a row was Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas. Despite receiving some decent scores for both of her dances, a total of 47 points, Bristol is still at the biggest risk of being voted off on tonight’s results show.

The full scores from last night below –

Brandy & Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 57 (29, 28)

Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough 57 (27, 30)

Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer: 56 (27, 29)

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas 47 (24, 23)

Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya 48 (24, 24)
