Report: Sarah Palin’s Alaska Not Returning For Second Season

Has Sarah Palin decided to pull the plug on her TLC hit show Sarah Palin’s Alaska? You betcha!

According to a new Entertainment Weekly report, the former Governor of Alaska has no plans to return for a second season of the hit TLC reality show, which averaged over 3.2 million viewers per episode.

EW adds that Sunday night’s two-hour finale will conclude the show. So for what reason is Sarah, who reportedly stood to earn millions from a second season, choosing to walk away from the show?

Well according to TMZ, it all comes down to politics. Doing a second season would pretty much indicate a clear sign that she’s not running for President in 2012. While not doing the show leaves the door wide open for a presidential run.

In fact, sources tell TMZ that TLC “would green light another season of Palin’s show in a second.” Though unlike the EW report, TMZ states Sarah has yet to make a final decision.

Plus Sarah not returning to TLC would likely mean more air time for her fellow network star Kate Gosselin. So the question of the day is…

TELL US: WHO WOULD YOU RATHER WATCH – KATE OR SARAH? DO YOU WANT SARAH’S SHOW TO RETURN FOR ANOTHER SEASON?
