While we’re still months away from the third season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, some of the stars are now talking about what to expect.
For starters, controversial housewife Danielle Staub will not be returning, and that is a-okay with Caroline Manzo, who threatened to leave the show if Bravo allowed Danielle to come back.
The HollywoodLife caught up with both Andy Cohen and Caroline this week and they both seem to agree on one thing. “Without Danielle, it’ll be great!” Andy said.
“People worry that the show won’t be what it was. I’m glad it’s not what it was,” Caroline stated. “Now, it’s drama that’s memorable.” Caroline also confirms there will be some new housewives this season, reportedly Melissa Gorga (Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law) and Kathy Wakile (Teresa’s first cousin).
“There’s a couple of new faces,” Caroline reveals. “It’s a very different dynamic this year. It’s a lot of fun.”
And despite reports that the third season finished filming last December, Andy states that “Jersey is filming right now,” adding that “it’s going really well.”
“It’s the best it ever was,” Caroline finalizes. And in a separate interview with E! Online, Caroline reveals that she doesn’t miss her sister Dina Manzo on the show because she gets to see Dina in real life, while also hinting at some drama with Teresa according to E!.
“Oh Teresa! You’re gonna have to watch and see, there’s a tremendous dynamic going on,” Caroline said. “My beautiful daughter and sons are doing great, they’re loves lives come into play. Interesting things go on this year.”
Bravo has yet to officially announce the premiere date for season 3 but all signs point to sometime in May.
As for Danielle, who is rumored to be working on a spinoff reality show about her personal life, her new show called ‘Social’ premiered on Wealth TV days ago and according to our reader ZOSO666, the show is a train wreck. “It is awful. I want my 1/2 hour back but I had to watch it. She is like the white trash version of Robin Leach. I don’t suspect it should last too long,” added Zoso. Ouch!

It will be boring without Danielle, I mean all these shows are freak shows, I only watch to trip out on how freaky they look and how so many people out there really buy into the Bull sh–. It is really annoying though, like for instance does Theresa really think we don’t know that she was looking to start trouble when she approached Danielle, and that Ashley Pulled Danielle’s hair unprovoked. Hello there were cameras following them.
But I love it love it love it ,all the RHW.. Can’t wait to see the freaks of Miami.
You know, Im reading these comments, and for the most part, we all agree. But…back when the show was on, all you seen was I LOVE CAROLINE.

@52 Teresa…..Some people have extremely strong opinions. They like who they like and don’t like others. There are those who seem to hate HW so much, and will really fight for their beliefs. It’s sad when some act like they know the HW personally, and will attack posters if they don’t agree. I think everyone is entitled to her or his own opinion. Personally, I thought Danielle had an awful past. I questioned a number of things she did on the show. My eyes rolled around a lot. My eyes also rolled around when I would listen to Teresa and Joe. I never could understand how Caroline could defend Teresa & Joe, or support Dina in marrying Tommy. Even if Tommy was her bil, I think he was a player before the marriage. I didn’t trust him. I was really upset when I saw that one kitchen scene where Jacqueline & Chris were covering for Joe with the DWI or DUI. I really did a lot of eye rolling then. I was in total disbelief.

I think the show will be boaring without Danielle.. I think the housewifes will miss Danielle.. They seem to talk about her ALL the time.. I say bring Danielle back…

Caroline would have done America a favor by not returning. RHONJ has got to be the most violent show of all the housewives series. I for one will not watch this show anymore.
The only person to even begin to have any type of class at all, from all of the “Housewives” shows is Bethenney Frankel.
Frankel’s quick wit, honest, clean character, amazing business acumen and her creativity have all come together at the right for her and she was wise enough to use them for her future in a way no other “reality TV” personality has been able to do so far.
The fact is Bethenney has gone from being a young woman with some pretty strong financial success to becoming a business woman on the verge of quite possibly creating a financial dynasty that she and she alone is responsible. Yes her husband helps her out, but make no mistake, this is all Bethenney’s baby.
She came from nowhere with nothing given to her and committed herself to hard work. She went from being a hardworking young person who was able to take her culinary skills to TV and she went from a spot on a cooking show and before the blink of an eye she became a multi-millionaire who has a shot at possibly becoming a billionaire before the music stops. Only in America.
