Sweetie Hughes, better known as Kim Zolciak’s long suffering assistant on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, is finally breaking her silence on the recent controversies surrounding her.
For starters, Sweetie was the so called “reason” for the big tour bus fight that ensued this season involving former BFFs Kim and Nene Leakes. Nene made a big stink on the bus, claiming she had a problem with the way Kim treated Sweetie, only to turn around and call Sweetie a slave to her face – more than once.
Since the airing of that episode, Sweetie continues to feel the brunt of Nene’s words and actions as Atlanta radio host Rickey Smiley launched a “Free Sweetie” campaign on Feb. 16 after Nene called his morning show.
“They’re doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me,” Sweetie tells Life & Style. “They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They’ve taken it too far. NeNe’s jealous that she’s not as close to Kim as I am. I’ve known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim’s a great friend to me. NeNe’s traumatizing my life. She’s bringing hell to it.”
Kim also spoke to the mag about the Sweetie situation. “I never want to speak to NeNe again. My assistant Sweetie is so upset about the whole thing, she’s beside herself,” Kim tells Life & Style. “NeNe has problems.”
In other Kim news, we now have more of her interview with Life & Style magazine, in which she talks about her unborn baby and “amazing” sex life with 25-year-old dummy baby’s daddy to be Kroy Biermann.

“The baby’s fine — no complications or problems, thank God. I was pretty nauseous in the first trimester,” Kim tells the mag. “Now I drink Perrier all day — it’s the best ever and keeps me from the nausea. But, I am exhausted. We just went to Anguilla for 10 days, and I slept my butt off!”
And how much weight has Kim gained? “I don’t step on the scale, but I’d say I’ve gained about 20 pounds. I gained 30 with my first and 28 with my second.”
When it comes to how pregnancy has affected her sex life, Kim dishes to Life & Style: “It’s amazing! We’re in a really good place. Kroy loves me pregnant. I don’t remember my ex-husband being that into it, but Kroy loves it. He tells me I’m so beautiful. He’s really cute about it, and it definitely makes it a lot easier on me.” Good to know Kim. Good to know.

@93 before you throw out the racist bullshit here, let me point out a fact that most seem to miss here. NO ONE forces Sweetie to stay in the position she is in. If I remember correctly, if you are unhappy in your job, you can do this thing called QUIT. I know that might be a foreign concept to you, but it does happen daily. I’m not defending Kim, but she doesn’t make Sweetie stay. As for Big Poppa AKA Tiny Dick calling her a black bitch? He needed to be bitch slapped for that and Kim ripped a new one for not saying anything to him about it.
Why quit when one can play the “Whoa-ways Me” card. Being a victim means one needn’t shoulder responsibility. It’s much easier to blame everyone else…”all” those evil people of the “other” color.

With the tapes from the show, Sweetie could and would win a civil suit against her employer. There are laws that have been violated for all to see.
Sweetie is not a victim. She’s on television! She’s also not the only person making an ass out of herself for the payola and exposure.

Go back to season 1. MeaNie wasn’t on Sherree’s birthday list. Kim left too, Kim wouldn’t let Sheree come to daughter’s birthday until she knew all was good with MeaNie and Sheree. Kim starts hanging out with Sheree And the green eyed MeaNie monster comes out. Kim cuts the song on her own and MeaNie goes after Kandi.
Be interesting to see how long until MeaNie starts going after HER BEST friend Diana for making the press about her huge child support payments her babies’ MARRIED daddy.
Kim is a tramp and whore for money, fame and exposure, and Sweety is just plain stupid, she should hide her face for the entire month of February because she brings shame to African American women everywhere, Ne-Ne’s way of expressing the issue was wrong but the premise was right!! she should be ashamed. Why would Kim care about Sweety, Sweety doesn’t care about Sweety!!!

Nene is a total hypocrit-something all dark entities are. She only thinks about herself and what will benefit her and her pocket book, no matter who she hurts. She is evil which by nature is the definition of a dark entity. Sweetie should sue Nee nay and the radio statio for slander.
Sweetie has a fairly simple job which involves a lot of sitting around gossiping and dishing with her employer. Sure, she has to hear her named bellowed time and time again, but that seems to be an in-joke, since the same tone is replicated every time. She talks back to her employer, giving back what she gets. Earplugs might improve her working conditions, but she’s overall got a cushy job.
NeNe was mad about other things – the intern comment, the invitation including other people and picked this to be her main reason seeking sympathy and support because it’s about race. She doesn’t care about Sweetie. If she did, she would have checked with her before the Free Sweetie campaign and would quit talking about her.
