Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans: “I’m Not Ready To Be A Mom”

Another day, another magazine cover for a Teen Mom “star.”

Following a bitter custody war with her mother, Teen Mom 2‘s Jenelle Evans now believes handing over her 19-month-old son, Jace, was the right decision.

“When he is older, I will tell him I was really young and I couldn’t put a roof over my own head, let alone his,” Jenelle, 19, tells Us Weekly eight months after voluntarily signing over custody to her mother, Barbara Evans.

According to UsWeekly, Jenelle and Barbara — known for their violent screaming matches — are now working together to raise Jace. Jenelle is taking a few film-studies classes at a local community college, while Barbara, 57, cares for the boy after working her full-time job at a department store.

And while Jenelle reveals she would love to have custody of Jace some day, she does admit she is not there yet. “Once I get a job, save money and have my own place for three months, then I’ll bring my mom to court,” Jenelle reveals of her future plans.

Barbara on the other hand is contempt with the current custody agreement. “Jace wasn’t asked to be born,” Barbara explains. “Somebody has to take care of him, and it’s going to be me. I don’t resent it. I love him to death.”

Also in the interview, Jenelle reveals her relationship with pot-head boyfriend, Kieffer Delp is “totally, completely over.”
