In today’s Kardashian news, the reality tv family continues to contribute to their unavoidable impending demise via overexposure world dominate.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians family – Khloe, Kourtney, Kris and Kim – grace the latest cover of Redbook magazine. In the article, Kris Jenner defends her daughters, you know, against all those awful critics who question why they are famous.
“It’s annoying when I hear, ‘What do your girls do?’ Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show,” pimp matriarch Kris, 55, tells Redbook. “And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that’s a huge misconception that the girls don’t work. They work 25 hours a day.”
And what about the criticism that her daughters are talentless hacks? “They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show,” says Kris. “Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. How many shows do you have?” Okay, so they don’t have a talent.
As for why their family seems to appeal to the TV audience, Khloe Kardashian believes it is due to their realness. “We are a real family. We don’t sugarcoat anything. We’re not the Brady Bunch, but we always put each other first,” Khloe, 26, says. “We love each other on camera, we cry on camera. I think people relate to the realness of it.”
Kim Kardashian also insists they have nothing to hide. “There’s nothing I’m really ashamed of, and I work hard on the show and all my other projects,” she states. “I don’t drink or do drugs, so I’m comfortable showing the world what my life is all about.”
And finally, after Kourtney Kardashian issued a non-denial denial via her twitter page back in February following reports that she was engaged to beau Scott Disick, it seems we will finally get the true answer on Sunday’s finale of Kourtney and Kim Take New York . The previews show Scott shopping for engagements rings for Kourt. The reports also stated back then that Kourtney and Scott would be getting their own spin-off.
