Another day, another Kardashian controversy.
The latest involves Kim Kardashian of course following the release of a Turkish Cosmopolitan Magazine cover featuring her. The problem? Kim is Armenian and the Turks committed genocide against the Armenian people nearly 100 years ago, and still refuse to acknowledge it.
Plus the magazine did not get Kim’s permission before splashing her on the Turk cover at a time that coincides with the Genocide Remembrance Day, which commemorates the victims of the 1915 Armenian genocide.
TMZ adds that Kim was completely unaware she was on the Turkish cover until they did a story about it yesterday. Sources tell TMZ that Kim was very upset and would never have approved the use of her photo in the Turkish version.
But fret not folks as it all ends well for Kimmy. A new TMZ report today states Kim and Cosmo have kissed and made up already with a new photo shoot already in the works, that could take place as early as this week. Sources however make it clear Kim really struggled with her decision to work with Cosmo again because even though she has an “amazing relationship” with the mag, she’s very passionate about her Armenian heritage.
In other Kardashian news, Khloe Kardashian and hubby Lamar Odom visited the Ellen DeGeneres Show in a new interview airing today, during which they both revealed Lamar actually tried to quit their new reality show Khloe and Lamar during filming.
“I thought it was going to be easy. It’s really tough,” admits Lamar. “I knew from doing my family’s show how intense and grueling and how much they are really in your face,” Khloe, 26, says. “I personally didn’t want to do the show. I love taping. I just didn’t want to put Lamar through that pressure and Lamar was like, ‘let’s do it.'”
Khloe then reveals that Lamar had a tough time with the cameras and tried to quit the show 3 days into filming. “He said, ‘Can you tell your mom to get us out of this contract?’ I go, ‘Absolutely not. That ship has sailed,'” Khloe said.
But fret not again folks as this story also has a happy ending. “Lamar loves the finished product,” added Khloe.
