Was NYC Housewife Jill Zarin Cyber-Bullied by Simon van Kempen?

On the upcoming episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, Jill Zarin borrows the buzzword of her BFF Kelly Bensimon when she accuses Simon van Kempen of cyber-bullying her.

In fact on the last episode, Jill’s husband Bobby Zarin confronted Simon, hubby of Alex McCord, wanting to know if he was “actively involved” with a hate-mongering blog, which Simon denied.

So let’s examine both claims shall we. The blog Bobby is referring to is a blog called the “I Hate Jill Zarin” blog. The blog was created last year to cover Jill during the climax of her unpopularity with fans of the RHONY in light of her feud with Bethenny Frankel. However today, the blog covers a variety of different topics and reality shows.

So what is Simon’s involvement? Well at one point last year, Alex and Simon were doing their book tour during which they made a stop in Chicago, the same city the owner of the IHJZ blog resides in. A meet and greet was organized for Alex and Simon to meet local bloggers and fans which included the writer of the blog in June 2010. The writer blogged about the event and posted pictures on the IHJZ blog. In her Bravo blog this week, Alex states that was the extent of their involvement with the blog. Below is an excerpt -

“I don’t know how that translates into Simon or me being investors, content writers, posters, or even members of the blog. We don’t own it, we don’t have money in it. We don’t write for it. There is a link on the blog to a recap of the Chicago fan event held for us with pictures, and as the blog covers the whole Housewives franchise, we along with all other cast membersare regularly discussed on it. That doesn’t mean we are doing the discussing.”

The owner of the IHJZ blog also states Simon is not involved with the blog.

And speaking of Bravo blogs, Jill accused Simon of “mean tweeting” about her and Kelly in her latest blog. It appears this is what she means by “cyber-bullying” on the upcoming episode. So does Simon sometimes “mean tweet” about the NYC housewives? Absolutely. However, Jill appears to take the cake when it comes to “mean tweeting.” In fact, a fan question called her out on it during her recent appearance on Bravo’s WWHL.

Below are just some of tweets made by Jill about her cast mates (mostly Ramona) in recent weeks -

  • “Mixed message? Your a hypocrite!” tweeted Jill about Ramona on June 23rd.
  • “Just watched next weeks episode. It’s like soft porn. Gross!!! Then Luann takes down a housewife. Want to guess who? Such great episode!” tweeted Jill on June 11th.
  • “We r dying laughing watching Ramona fake cry.” tweeted Jill June 9th.
  • “She is just using me to try to get more twitter followers. Desperate move don’t u think? She did that with b too. Sad.” tweeted Jill on June 5th.
  • “I agree its gross.RT @jlrtweets101665 “@Jillzarin I think RHONY has become a 1 hour advertisement for Ramona’s beverage and it is becoming very very annoying.”" tweeted Jill on June 5th.
  • “Actually a producer!RT @KNeddie “@Jillzarin didn’t ramona hit a cameraman during filming?” tweeted Jill June 2nd.
  • “I think so too!RT @AbbieLLear “@Jillzarin what a selfish heartless bitch..Ramona is a prime example of bullying! I would be mortified if I were Avery! Jennifer is GORGEOUS.” tweeted Jill May 20th.
  • “What did I do that hurt Ramona to her face. She publicly attacked me. Big difference, you admit u put your foot in mouth and that’s ok?” tweeted Jill May 19th.

The tweets with RT in front of them were tweeted to Jill by fans, and her response is in front of the RT. May 19th is where we decided to stop with the tweets though we could have went on and on and on. And just 2 weeks ago, Jill Zarin posted a poll question on her official facebook page asking “Is Ramona a hypocrite?” So we ask, will the real cyber bully please stand up?

Vicki Gunvalson Denies Cheating With Boyfriend Brooks Ayers, Says She’s In Love With Him

Very negative publicity and unflattering reports of arrests for a DUI and unpaid child support in tow, Vicki Gunvalson is standing by her man.

In the current issue of UsWeekly magazine, the Real Housewives of Orange County star not only defends beau Brooks Ayers, but also denies she cheated on her estranged husband Donn Gunvalson with him. A report came out a week ago with an ex-girlfriend of Brooks stating Vicki had been involved with him since 2007. Even more puzzling was the handwritten letter Vicki sent to a judge on behalf on Brooks last August, two months before filing for divorce from Donn.

“We never had an affair,” states Vicki, 49 of her romance with Brooks, 44. It however appears Vicki took a page from the book of her BFF Tamra Barney as the UsWeekly article states she has been dating Brooks for the past 8 months. Just when did Vicki file for divorce? Exactly eight months ago in October. Did she start dating Brooks hours days after filing for divorce???

The report of the 8-month romance is even more surprising because when the reports about Brooks first came out, Vicki downplayed their relationship claiming “I’ve only just started dating this guy, we’ve had like three dates.”

Vicki also takes a page out of Gretchen Rossi’s handbook when she denies Brooks was a deadbeat dad despite his two arrests for being just that. “He fell back on payments,” she admits but says he’s paid $100,000 to his ex over a span of years. “Is that a deadbeat dad?” asks Vicki.

And during her Sunday night appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Vicki went a step further when she revealed she is in love with Brooks adding, “I knew everything. There wasn’t any secrets and lies.”

When asked about the hypocrisy of her situation, you know, being that she has called out Slade Smiley for not paying his child support once or twice, Vicki attempted to defend herself. “If the viewers saw me the last year” said Vicki. “I never talked about Slade. It’s his business and his life and I don’t want him in mine.” Well those in glass houses have no business throwing rocks.

And speaking of Slade, Gretchen tweeted a photo this week of him with his eldest son Gavin Smiley with the caption “Having lunch with Slade’s oldest son Gavin and his girlfriend Kenna! Love them! Gavin is such a sweet and good kid!” That photo is below.

Basketball Wives Recap: It’s a Non Muthaf*ckin Deal Afterall!

On last night’s episode of Basketball Wives, Shaunie O’Neal gets the ladies together in NYC for some bonding and some peer mediation – but leaves instigator Meeka Claxton out of the loop! Jennifer Williams goes on a blind date with a new Eric, Suzie Ketcham and Royce Reed stay behind in Miami and therefore stay out of the drama, and Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozado make amends without coming to blows!

Things start off with Suzie meeting up with Meeka to discuss the argument at the Polo Match. Suzie is taking Meeka’s side, probably thinking that is the side Evelyn will be on so she can impress the mean girls with her ability to quickly ditch Royce. Meeka admits she probably should not have gotten involved in all the dramz and that her and Tami do not mesh. Taking an Evelyn like attitude about people not mattering if she doesn’t want them to, Meeka advises Tami to keep a move on. She also advises Suzie to stay out of things! Um, pot meet kettle!

Kim Kardashian Sets Wedding Date! Plus Did Khloe Kardashian Lose 10lbs Due To Kris?

Kim Kardashian is wasting zero time in moving ahead with her wedding plans!

Just weeks after fiance Kris Humphries proposed to her, the 30-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has set a wedding date for August. “The date that close friends of the family are being given is toward the beginning of August,” an insider tells Popeater. “They are looking at private estates in Los Angeles, since location will make it much easier for guest flying in to attend.”

And this time around, pimpmomager Kris Jenner is planning to go all out as she has more time to plan this wedding than she did for daughter Khloe‘s quickie wedding to Lamar Odom.

“The last Kardashian wedding was insane,” a family friend reveals. “This time Momma Kris wants time to plan and prepare and make sure the entire family has time to enjoy getting ready for the big day. Kris deserves this moment … and she fully intends to make sure every detail is just perfect.” Kris deserves this moment???

Oh well, Kris’s moment aside, the E! network will air Kimmy’s wedding as a 2-hour special similar to the way they did Khloe’s back in 2009. “Kim really wants her fans to celebrate with her on the most important day of her life,” says a source. Well that and also that massive check from E!

In other KUWTK news, Khloe Kardashian is revealing she recently lost 10 pounds and is now a size 8! Khloe tells UsWeekly she did it the healthy way. “I like working out and eating well,” she said, adding that her diet is “all about moderation.”

However sources tell UsWeekly Khloe lost the weight due to pressure from her mom who wasn’t happy with her weight. If you recall, the pimp known as Kris slammed Khloe months ago citing her weight makes her a bad spokesperson for the Quicktrim diet supplements she endorses.

“Khloe felt really low after that,” a source says of the 5-foot-10 star. The source however insists Khloe didn’t shed the pounds for anyone but herself. Uh uh. Above is a recent photo of Khloe taken June 18.

Bristol Palin Says Levi Did Not Rape Her, But Her Virginity Was “Stolen”

Oh Bristol Palin…if we read your book, will you go away? Not too long ago, the wise beyond her twenty years (why else would she need a memoir at such a young age?) agent of abstinence announced she had penned her first book, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.

One of the more controversial admissions Bristol makes in her book includes not remembering losing her virginity at age fifteen while drunk on wine coolers. This revelation led some to speculate as to whether Bristol was claiming to be a victim of date rape at the hands of her then-boyfriend Levi Johnston.

Bristol has taken to the media to promote her memoir set the record straight about these recent mumblings. In an interview with GMA, Bristol claims she was not raped or date raped by Levi, but insists her virginity was “stolen” not “lost.”

She states, “I am just looking back with the adult eyes I have now, and just thinking, that was a foolish decision. I should never have been underage drinking.” Bristol also stands by her decision to use the term “stolen” instead of “lost” regarding her virginity and the night she first had sex, as “that’s what it felt like.”

When questioned about her role to promote abstinence among teens (which some have said is hypocritical), Bristol, who reportedly earned $262,000 as an abstinent ambassador, reveals, “I hate the word ‘abstinence.’ I’m not an abstinence preacher, ya know?” Bristol was on birth control when she got pregnant and believes that abstinence is the only sure-fire way to prevent teen pregnancy, especially since she knew she took her pill improperly her method was ineffective.

During the interview, Bristol is asked what she believes will be her son Tripp’s reaction when he’s old enough to read her book. While throughout her memoir, she refers to her baby daddy Levi as a gnat, Bristol elaborates, “I don’t know if Levi will be a big role model in his life at all, so I’m not that worried about it.” She goes on to say that, while Levi does see Tripp, the time “certainly isn’t as much as he’s entitled to.”

Regardless of your opinions on Bristol and/or her infamous mother, I can guarantee you one thing: this certainly isn’t the last you’ve seen of Bristol’s summer media tour. And fear not, once she’s done hyping her (please say it won’t be!) future bestseller, Bristol’s got a new reality show she wants you to watch! Nope, she’s apparently not. going. anywhere.

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert Explains Why She Never Saw Through Bentley

On last night’s episode of the Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert finally got the closure she had been looking for from douche-bag contestant Bentley Williams.

While in Hong Kong, host Chris Harrison revealed Bentley had returned and wanted to speak with Ashley. While Ashley had been hoping Bentley would return to stay and fight for her love, she got her heart broken a second time when Bentley revealed he was there to end their “relationship.”

The good news? Ashley was surprisingly strong and finally realized Bentley was a d-bag who never cared about her to begin with. “I cannot believe I wasted so much time on Bentley,” said Ashley after her meeting with Bentley. “He’s such a player. He disrespected me to the core and I don’t understand what I did to deserve this. Bentley, if you’re watching this, f–k you, I’m done with you.”

In her latest blog for PEOPLE, Ashley explains why she wasn’t able to see through Bentley’s BS earlier on. An excerpt is below -

“In last night’s episode, I hope you were finally able to see what Bentley was consistently doing in each conversation with me. His ego and competitiveness made him want to “get the girl,” but you know, as well as I do (now), that I was certainly not what he wanted.

But he continually fed me lines like, “I didn’t think I would miss you as much as I did,” and, “Come to Salt Lake City.” It was only at this meeting that I was able to clearly see the way he would try to smooth talk his way into my heart and then attempt to crush it on his way out. Looking back, one would think that I would be fearful that my judgment was not intact. However, I am more fearful of the fact that there are men out there so convincing of untruth.”

Ashley also adds that she’s happy to close the B chapter, for good this time. “You will never have to hear the B–– word again,” promises Ashley.

Meanwhile, Ashley decided to come clean to her guys last night causing one of the men, Ryan “Mickey” McLean, to throw a tantrum and leave the show. “You lied to us,” said an angry Ryan. “I just don’t see what the hell you saw in that guy. I thought we had a lot in common, but if that’s what you’re looking for, send me home. I’m just not interested.” Safe to assume Ryan probably wasn’t interested to begin with and was just looking for an excuse to exit the show.
