Where there’s smoke, there’s fire! Days after a media outlet reported Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada once had a fling with her fiance’s BFF Terrell Owens, she has decided to quit the show, and according to TMZ, it is for good this time.
The chain of events began earlier this week when the MediaTakeOut gossip blog stated that when Evelyn began dating fiance Chad Ochocinco last year, she was also secretly dating his buddie and fellow NFL player Terrell at the same time. The insider revealed, “I can’t call it CHEATING, cause her and Chad weren’t officially together. But Chad doesn’t know about it. Evelyn and [Terrel] promised to never tell [Chad] about it.”
After that report came out on Monday, Evelyn laughed it off on twitter, and her fiance Chad did the same. Well fast forward to a day later as Chad posted this not so cryptic message on his twitter page: “No Sabes Como Duele.” Translation? – “You don’t know how much it hurts.” Chad hasn’t updated his twitter page since posting that on Tuesday.
The same day Chad posted the message, Evelyn posted on her twitter page that she was not only quitting twitter, but also the Basketball Wives. “Just wanted to say that I won’t be on Twitter for a while. Going 2 possibly delete my account & I won’t be signing on 2 do anymore shows,” tweeted Evelyn.
And just yesterday, TMZ confirmed that Evelyn had indeed decided to quit the very popular VH1 hit show. Sources close to Evelyn tell TMZ no amount of money will bring her back and that Evelyn made up her mind after VH1 posted a blog repeating the report that Evelyn may have cheated on Chad with his former teammate TO. VH1 has since deleted the blog posting.
However, the word on the rumor mill is that Evelyn and TO, who also has a show on VH1, did indeed have a fling before Evelyn got serious with Chad. After the initial story came out this week, TO apparently came clean to Chad, who then decided to dump his fiance Evelyn. Sources add that Evelyn is devastated and now feels that Basketball Wives ruined her reputation and relationship with Chad. Yikes!
And oh yeah, Chad also unfollowed Evelyn on twitter! Below is a screen shot of Evelyn’s tweets -
The bigger question now is with Evelyn off the show, who is Jen going to follow around?
