Holly Durst and Ex-fiance Michael Stagliano Win The Bachelor Pad 2!

The Bachelor Pad season 2 three-hour finale aired last night and new winners were crowned!

Beating out the other 16 contestants, Holly Durst and her partner/ex-fiance Michael Stagliano emerged the winners, taking home the $250,000 prize on the ABC show Monday night.

Holly and Michael beat out runner-ups Graham Bunn and Michelle Money. The 14 eliminated contestants were the ones who voted, giving Holly and Michael got 10 votes, while Michelle and Graham only got 4.

The finale was of course not without drama. It was revealed that Holly, 28, had gotten engaged to Blake Julian, 28, much to the complete surprise of her former fiance Michael, 27. Michael was understandably upset as he wondered why he had to find out about the engagement on the show.

While Michael admitted he was “hurt” he hadn’t heard about her engagement before the reunion show, he didn’t let it deter him from choosing to share the prize with Holly. The two partners ended up taking home $125,000 each.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE? SHOULD HOLLY HAVE INFORMED MICHAEL ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT BEFORE HAND?

  1. This has to go down as the most uncomfortable show in Bachelor history. If Michael didn’t know about Holly and Blake’s engagement it was just palin cruel. If he did know and it was a set-up for dramatic effect it was the most dishonest show in Bachelor history. The entire group was ridiculous and if Erica Rose was the only one who made sense we are all in trouble. I found Jake to be insincere and Vienna cast as her usual villanous character a bit old and over-used. As for Kasey…yuck…he is just disgusting and I didn’t buy his fake tears rehabilitation act. Ben is the most unattractive and dull guy to be cast on the franchise and I can’t see why anyone would want to fight for his “love”. I have to stop watching this BS series. I love that they used the only so-called successful cast members as the judges in the final competition and I wonder if they’ll televize Blake and Holly’s wedding so they can claim another successful love match for the Bachelor series. What a bunch of BS.

  2. @Meri – I’m not planning on watching Ben’s season either. What an awful choice for the bachelor. Since it hasn’t started filming yet, they should drop him and use Michael Stagliano instead. Yeah, he isn’t the most physically attractive either, but he’s kind of cute, super funny and very likeable. Plus, everyone would be rooting for him to find love since he just had his heart broken by Holly.

  3. I think Michael is cute! Why didn’t they use him?? I missed a few years of the Bachelor so I’m confused as to where he came from.. I think Michael is just as cute as Blake, but admittedly Blake does have better teeth for obvious reasons.. I felt awkward FOR Michael when he found out on TV.. Poor guy :( I’m sick of Jake and Vienna and laughed when he said it was because of him that she had this train ride to sustain her ability to be in the spotlight. THEN I laughed even harder when she said she had fans! Michelle looked so nice and normal but all I can think of when I see her is the black eye and her threatening to punch whoever tried to take Brad from her.. Creepyyyyyy! As for Ben, he’s not the cutest but I wish people would stop being so vain.. Looks don’t always matter.. And what YOU may think is NOT what someone else may think.. He is very successful and very smart.. That’s what women look for in a man.. Brains! I’d rather have a semi cute guy with brains and ambition rather than some douchebag loser just because he’s cute. Oh and 1 more thing. Kasey you are a piece of shit. A speech impediment doesn’t make you sound like a frog. That is the sound of your voice, NOT how your words come out.. See the difference??

  4. Vienna and Casey were obnoxious! How did they last so long on BP? Vienna is so fake and obviously would want Jake back if she could have him. Her obsession with Jake throughout the entire BP season so was insulting to Casey, how could he not see it?

Wow, when Erica is the voice of reason – what is the world coming to?? Am happy with the ending of BP and the engagement of Holly and Blake – everytime they were around each other they seemed so happy. Michael was always such a downer and he had his chance with Holly. Did not like Vienna (she thinks the fans liked her?? NOT). Michelle also has acted calmer this time much more than her season. Thought Melissa was the crazy one this year!!Hope that Ben will do a great job.

  7. That’s messed up for michael. He splits the money with his ex who in turn spends it on her new boyfriend with whom he had to watch her making out with the whole time on the show.

  8. I thought the whole engagement scene came off so forced and ridiculous. I was rooting for Holly and Blake but they obviously sold out their relationship in exchange for a fancy ring and who knows what else. I am sure that not telling Mike about the “engagement” was part of the deal that Holly agreed to with the producers.

  9. HOORAY FOR HOLLY AND BLAKE, MY FAVORITE COUPLE!! WHAT AN EXCITING SEASON OF BP.JUST A GAME GUYS, GET OVER IT..people fall in love and i think it is real for B/H. i would like to see MS be the next Bachelor to find his new love and please show Blake and Holly wedding on ABC
