The rumors that Kate Gosselin is having an affair with her long-time bodyguard Steve Neild have been swirling for a while, but is there some truth to the gossip? I mean, Kate is apparently worried over her finances given that she no longer has a “real” job, yet she is still keeping Steve on the pay roll? Sounds fishy to me!
After being caught on what seemed like a romantic date without Kate’s eight, In Touch Weekly is reporting that the two looked quite cozy during an intimate dinner last month. “They were smiling and laughing,” an onlooker reports. “They definitely looked like a couple.”
Kate has long denied any romantic relationship with Steve, telling the Today show: “There is no affair. There never has been an affair;” claiming they are just “very good friends.” However, viewers of her former show Kate Plus 8 can attest that there were certainly some sparks (remember the pizza meltdown of the final season? yikes!)
Even her ex-husband Jon Gosselin has added to the rumors that Kate and Steve are a little more than just friends. “I speculate, but I don’t know — that’s a general feel,” Jon told Good Morning America. “You know, almost like when they were traveling together, I felt jealous. Here I’m Mr. Mom. And then there’s some other guy traveling with my wife.” And he was wondering just what kind of protection Steve was providing for his then wife! “Whether it’s protection or not, it’s all in — it’s in the back of my mind.”
Indeed, an insider is telling the mag that Kate and Steve definitely have a relationship! “Kate and Steve take long, lingering walks and even stay in the same room when they travel.” On a recent trip to Chicago the pair was definitely acting like a couple, and Steve also accompanied Kate on a recent trip to Australia! “Kate doesn’t hide her feelings for Steve,” the insider adds.”They’re not ashamed of their relationship.” But perhaps they should be!
For those of you who are thinking ‘good for Kate for finding a man!’ think again as Steve is actually a married man (who is often spotted sans wedding ring)! Steve’s wife of 20 years, Gina must not be too pleased by the amount of time he spends with a woman other than his wife. When In Touch attempted to contact Gina for her opinion on Kate’s relationship with her husband, she hung up! “She must be outraged,” a friend informed the mag. Kate has also claimed to be “good friends” with Steve’s wife, but somehow I doubt that! A photo of Gina Neild is below.

Steve’s wife is cashing Kate’s checks. I’d be curious to know if Steve’s wife works outside of the home. If she doesn’t have a career, she may agree to this humiliation because she has no choice. Steve’s wife is very unattractive and probably thinks she can’t do better than Steve. She needs to kick him to the curb, get alimony & child support, and learn a trade so that she can stand on her own two feet. Kate Gosselin is a hypocrite. How hard is it to confirm that these two are boinking?! Uh, how about a hotel employee putting a nanny cam in their room then selling the results to TMZ? Case solved!

The truth is that the only way a person can tolerate being around her for any given amount of time is if they are being paid to do so. From what I saw of Steve on the show, it doesn’t seem like he is a big fan of hers.

I don’t know.. I’m sure Kate would take this guy over in a second, if he let her.. But is he really that dumb? Men hate the sound of Kate’s voice..let alone spend time with her. The whole bodyguard story-please-that was just a cover for why he was always photographed with her, on vacation with her and her kids etc. . She would have been crucified while her show was on if she had said this is my not yet divorced boyfriend, and putting him into the kids lives so fast.
