Teen Mom 2 Recap: One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

The girls of Teen Mom 2 are at it again. They make a good decision, then they make two bad decisions. They seem to be on the right track, then they derail faster than Chelsea can whine that Adam’s changed. And the guys? Oh the guys! I know boys mature slower than girls, but COME. ON. It’s time to step up to the plate, with everyone acting like adults. There are children involved, after all.

We rejoin Jenelle Evans as she moves back in with mom Barbara after filing domestic violence charges against Kieffer. She is trying to redeem her failing grades and focus on her upcoming nineteenth birthday. Her mother seems passively supportive of her daughter’s efforts, but she is concerned that Kieffer will throw her back off course. The two both agree that Jenelle spending time with son Jace is the right thing to do.

New RHOC Housewife Heather Dubrow’s Husband Dr. Terry Dubrow Sued By Two Former Patients!

Real Housewives of Orange County hasn’t even aired yet, but newest Housewife Heather Dubrow is about to get a taste of the unfortunate side effects of fame — even of the C-List variety!

RadarOnline has just uncovered that Heather’s husband, Terry Dubrow, a renowned plastic surgeon who is no stranger to reality TV in his own right has been sued at least twice by two different patients! See, you go on a reality show and ALLLL your skeletons come dancing out of the closet!

One former patient, Leah Goodman, filed a personal injury lawsuit against Terry and the Newport Heights Medical Center where she was treated. Documents obtained pertaining to the suit, which was filed in March 2011, show Leah claiming she has suffered from “wage loss” along with “loss of earning capacity,” among other financial set-backs because of the injuries she suffered at the hands of Dr. Dubrow’s medical negligence and malpractice!

In the lawsuit filed directly against Dr. Dubrow, Leah is seeking $25,000 in damages as well as unspecified damages for the medical malpractice and general negligence she is alleging took place. Copies of the court documents are below.

Sadly this is not an isolated incident for Dr. Dubrow! Last year, former patient June Hofherr filed a suit against the doctor and the Newport Bluffs Surgery Center claiming that she suffered from complications related to a procedure Dr. Dubrow performed on her.

According to the court documents, “Defendants failed to disclose material risks of the procedure to the plaintiff and thereby failed to fully describe the procedures that were proposed and/or exceeded the scope of the disclosure and thereby failed to obtain informed consent from the plaintiff for said course of care, treatment and/or surgery. Had plaintiff been adequately informed of all the risks of the procedure, plaintiff would not have consented to said procedure.”

Mark Hofherr, who is also filing suit, claims June has been ” unable to perform the duties of a spouse and the work and services usually performed in the care, maintenance and management of the family home,” following the surgeries, adding that she “will be unable to perform such work, services and duties in the future.”

Pretty serious stuff for Dr. Dubrow who I am sure will be performing many day of beauty events on the ladies of RHOC. That’s probably the real reason Alexis Bellino isn’t a fan — she likes to pimp her plastic surgeon on the show!

E!’s Giuliana Rancic Back to Work 2 Weeks After Double Mastectomy

Just two weeks after undergoing a double mastectomy, Giuliana Rancic is already back to work!

Giuliana, 37, who also underwent reconstructive surgery, was back on the set at E! News on Tuesday. “Back at work today since surgery,” tweeted Giuliana. “Excited to be on set of @ENews. I’ve missed my 2nd family (co-workersnd you guys!!!) #thankful”

In a statement to E! Online, the Giuliana & Bill star wrote, “Even though I moved a tad slower than usual today, everyone welcomed me back with open arms and it was a wonderful homecoming.”

She added: “It feels great to be back at work,” she says. “I wasn’t sure whether I was going to return to E! News this week or after the new year. The last thing I wanted to do was rush my recovery. Thankfully, I’ve been feeling better every single day since surgery and this weekend my doctors gave me the green light to get back to work.”

Giuliana had her surgery on Dec. 13 after lumpectomies failed to eradicate her breast cancer. She revealed that she decided to go with the aggressive surgery in order to continue attempts to have a baby with hubby Bill Rancic.

“If I had chosen to just have another lumpectomy… Then I would have to put off having a baby for several years,” said Giuliana earlier this month, as the procedures following another lumpectomy could have left her at the age of menopause. Nice to see Giuliana is recovering well and back to work!

Jacqueline Laurita Is “Trying” To Forgive Teresa Giudice! Did Dina Manzo Spend The Holidays With Caroline?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey have obviously not heard of Christmas vacation because the ladies past and present were up to their drama antics despite the holiday. Instead of spending time with family, Jacqueline Laurita and Dina Manzo spent the holiday with Twitter where they seemed to get into a little Twiter for tat, although all’s well that ends well because the two seemed to make peace and spend part of their holiday together!

Jacqueline, whom I’m guessing doesn’t know how to operate a telephone or text, took to Twitter to post more personal business. Sending a heartfelt message to her cast mates and including Dina, Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub in the missive Jacqueline beseeched her former friends to take a lesson from Jesus and get along. I guess there is more to Jesus’ birthday than Rolex watches and Louis Vuitton!

Jacs Tweeted: “Pay Attention Please @Dinamanzo @carolinemanzo @teresa_giudice @melissagorga @kathywakile @daniellestaub..” and attached the following TwitPic! The second part of the message is below.


Jacqueline also used Twitter to invite sister-in-law Dina to Caroline Manzo‘s house for the family’s annual Christmas Eve celebration. Dina seemed to turn down the invite tweeting, “@JacLaurita ooops sorry, I’m doing open heart surgery on Rudolph so he can deliver all the toys to the good little girls and boys.”

Dina then tweeted: “The most dangerous ‘Hateful’ people are the ones who has everyone convinced that their angels… eventually the ugly comes out for all the world to see.” Jacqueline responded, “What a hateful thing to tweet. Lol! I agree with u. R we going to see u at Caroline’s today? Let’s make it happen. Time 4 a change.”

When fans asked Dina to explain her tweet and pinpoint just who the “hateful” words were aimed at, Dina brushed it aside, claiming it was just a general thought. Dina also seemed to take issue with Jacqueline putting their private business on Twitter, because she replied to a fan expressing that she was tired of the BS! That Tweet is below.

Dina possibly spent time with her family, as Jacqueline tweeted a photo of herself with someone who looks an awful lot like Dina under the caption: “Where’s Santa?” although Dina was not included in any of the family photos of Christmas Eve dinner featured on Babble! Those pics are below!

Moving on, Jacqueline is now focusing on 2012 and taking to Twitter again she talked about her hopes for the new year and they seem to include forgiving certain people (ahem… Teresa). Perhaps Jacqueline isn’t paying credence to those rumors that it was Teresa who spilled the beans on her alleged former employment at Glitter Gulch!

The blog AllAboutTRH personally spoke to Jacqueline about her relationship with her former bestie turned nemesis and Jacqueline confirmed that she is working on forgiveness! “Yes I’m trying. I decided to forgive those who have wronged me,” Jacqueline explained.

“I’m letting go of any resentment and only focusing on the positive and important. Holding onto hate in your heart is bad for the soul. I’m just in a very happy place and I want to stay here.” Are we ever going to find out what happened between those two anyway!?

Speaking of Teresa she took to Twitter as well to discuss the past season of RHONJ and admitted it was a difficult season filled with fake drama! “And I think you can tell the fake drama people bring to filming wears him down. We’re not like that. We’re just real and happy and relaxed..,” Teresa Tweeted. Adding, “This was *not* a fun season for any of us. Tore my family apart and made my former friends crazy. Very sad. Very glad it’s over…” Well that’s one thing I agree with Teresa on – I’m glad this season is over too. Now if we could just get Season 4 over with already!

Love & Hip Hop Recap: Audis, Auntie’s Advice & Aggravated Assault

Last night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop was a hodgepodge of car shopping, conversations with Chrissy’s aunt Cookie and cat fights. Chrissy still struggles with the status of her relationship with Jim, while Yandy introduces an interloper with some awesome hair-pulling skills.

Jim Jones is buying me a car at the Audi dealership looking for his first white car (he lost a bet) and mocking Chrissy’s reaction when she finds out about his new purchase. It is a beautiful car, fit for a hustler. Jim’s words, not mine. His friend promises to get the bleeped ready (after much rewinding I am going to definitively type he said he’d get the “puff puff” ready) so they can christen the car on the ride home. That gorgeous car won’t even be off the lot before it reeks of marijuana.
