Oh, Teen Mama Drama — why must you happen so frequently? Leah Messer recently announced she is both prego and getting married round two, but what is the Teen Mom 2‘s real reason for getting married?
Star Magazine reports that Leah has an ulterior motive for tying the knot so quickly to new baby daddy Jeremy Calvert. Money!
“Leah wants to get married so she can earn money by selling wedding photos and interviews,” a friend tells the gossip mag. “It’s the only way she can make money from the media under her contract. She didn’t get a bonus or anything from MTV for marrying on the show, but she can get a lot of money from the other things.”
Despite her rather large MTV paycheck, Leah apparently needs the money badly. So she’s pregnant again, why? “Leah needs the money,” the friend discloses. “Since she already lives with Jeremy, she doesn’t think a whole lot would change between them if they tie the knot.” I guess she’s forgotten that adding a newborn to the mix, along with her two-year-old twins will likely change things something drastic. But you know — rational thinking, smatsional schminking!
“I think they’re really good for each other,” the friend reveals of Leah’s warp speed relationship. “I just don’t think they should rush into marriage.”
In other news, Jeremy is apparently upset that fans are accusing Leah of paying for her own engagement ring! Taking to Twitter, Jeremy called out doubters claiming he paid for the 1.5 carat princess cut diamond ring himself! “umm FYI I don’t make a penny from MTV my own money bought it!,” he tweeted.
Explaining that he works as a “pipeline engineer for miller pipeline” “6 to 7 days a week outside in the cold” to earn a living. I have to say — good for Jeremy for working hard!
After defending himself to detractors, Leah tweeted: “I love you more then anything in the world baby, your my one and only!! 
),” so the world knows she stands by her man. Well, hopefully these two are happy and they aren’t getting married for the wrong reasons!

She is getting married because she is basically an uneducated hillbilly that isn’t able to think for herself or provide for herself without a man being there.
Seriously, in this day and age, with the economy as it is, having twins is bad enough, especially one with some developmental issues, but to go ahead and have a THIRD baby is the mark of a complete and utter idiot.

This is either a big mistake or a bad idea.. This poor, deluded girl and her poor babies. She wants happily ever after; who doesn’t?, but doesn’t seem to get its work being married. .
At least this guy seems to genuinely care about her and her two children and Corey is still on the picture but still it’s just not a good idea to jump from relationship to relationship what’s it teaching her poor girls?
This is gross. Getting married just to sell pictures. They’ll be divorced before this baby is 1. I used to like Leah, but she let the “fame” get to her!
Cudos to Jeremy to being a hard worker. But, if he’s working 6-7 days a week, what’s Leah doing when he’s not home? Doesn’t she have a history of cheating?
Leah is NUTS to marry again so quickly. And she’s also crazy to have another baby so soon, especially since one of her kids has issues. I do not comprehend how people can be so freaking stupid. Having sex without using birth control is also known as trying to conceive. It seems like some people just cannot grasp that fact.
I hope MTV terminates her contract!!! Clearly she didn’t get the message MTV swears Teen Mom/16 and Pregnant is trying to put out!!!

STAR magaine is full of BS half the time so I kinda doubt this story is true. Maybe they’re getting married for the same reason most ppl do, cause they LOVE eachother!! I remember my grandma always got the both the STAR & Enquirer just for their entertainment factor cause you knew no matter what the stories were they were just bs, they weren’t real but it was something to read & laugh @. Hell I remember one headline stating how a woman gave birth to an alien, lol
Leah knows what she knows. She made all kinds of money by having out of wedlock children and then selling her wedding pictures before, why not do it again! I wonder if she’s hoping she has another special needs kid for more attention?

@Kelly- I have read Star magazine for years, and never has there been a headline about someone birthing an alien. It is strictly a celeb based rag. You might be thinking of News of the World or some other tab, but Star has never had sensational stories about random things, only celeb stuff, which may or may not be true.
Getting pregnant at 19 for the 3rd time after having twins & one in and out of the hospital with issues, after 6 months of marriage to Corey, meeting Jeremy & moving in together after a few month & getting married is for ALL THE WRONG REASONS. yeeeesh this girl.
What’s a pipeline engineer? Is he actually just a pipeliner? Not a horrible profession, pays well, but you are never home. Don’t try to put lipstick on a pig. Should not be getting married with her track record, I would be running the other way if I was him.
She needs to stop embarassing her family because I would bet a million dollars that her mom has told her she is out of her mind and needs to slow down at the tender age of 19. If she keeps this up she will have been through more in 19 years than someone twice her age. Clearly she doesn’t understand the concept of marriage and she doesn’t need to have a big wedding again. Go to the local courthouse and call it a day just in case this one is over in 6 months too!
Leah is making a mess of her life for a check. The checks will eventually run out and she will be left with two divorces and three children.

I hope MTV kick Leah off the show she does not deserve to be in the show anymore. I hope she find out that it is not her family that carry the genetic disorder. Because there is a chance that her new baby will have the same problem like Ali. Leah has no brains Leah is in love with being in love. Leah and Jeremy won’t last they will be over before their baby turn 1 Leah rush in to everything. I wish Leah mother had a backbone and instead of co sign on every irresponsible decision Leah made she actually tell her that she is being dumb. But I guess since her mother was a teen mom it is okay how does Leah know Jeremy will treat the twins the same way as his baby. Leah is selfish and all think is about herself and new boyfriend what about the twins. How is Leah supposed to care for Ali and a newborn at the same time Corey only has the twin on the weekend. I agree.I hope that mtv drop Leah. All those messages on her websites reminding young girls of the importance of using contraception, and then she comes out with that nonsense about her mirena failing!!!! She obviously has to have a man in her life. Very sad. Many of these teen moms do not have careers or plan to have them. They enjoy being on tv, being treated like celebrites. What role models!
This is ridiculous in every way possible! how you 19 years old and proud to be pregnant again?! you can’t take care of the ones you have so you go and get pregnant again! She is far from a role model and after she has THIS baby the doctor needs to go ahead and tie her tubes she don’t need to have anymore kids and her ex-husband should be granted FULL custody of those girls because she is setting a horrible example for her children!
