We all saw it, but we all have different takes on what happened. To what am I referring? If you must ask, the most recent episode of Mob Wives! We can all agree we saw a smack down of epic reality proportions, but all viewers have their own take on what led up to the brawl at Renee Graziano’s birthday party and who was at fault. Some think that Drita D’avanzo was sincerely trying to make amends with nemesis Karen Gravano. I’ll be honest… that’s how I viewed it.
Some saw it as Drita’s guilt for marrying her former friend Karen’s long time love Lee D’avanzo. And after the initial conversation between Drita and Karen? That’s where it really gets dicey in the eyes of the beholder. No one can argue that Drita threw the first punch, but did she do it after so much verbal turmoil and the addition of Karen’s ride-or-die-friend/self-pro-claimed cousin Ramona Rizzo?
In an interview with Hollywoodlife.com, Drita explains her side of the cage match — and by cage, I clearly mean balcony. She recalls, “I definitely think they had the intention 1000 percent to do the tag team on me. I’ve gotten jumped. I know body action, motion, feeling — and I saw it. I saw the whole f*cking sh*t going on. I really did feel set up.”
Despite intuition, Drita did believe that her initial chat with Karen was not going to end badly. Quite the contrary, she was hopeful the combative pair could bury their differences. Drita reveals, “I was told she wanted to talk to me. I was so happy [she wanted to make up].”
Citing footage from that fateful episode, Drita continues, “If you see me, you see my body language. My gesture is genuine. I’m not trying to be a f*cking asshole. It’s crazy to me that she reacted the way that she did and changed and just turned the whole thing into a bad f*cking situation.”
Drita, however, is adamant about how the fight escalated. “Who started it? Karen. Who instigated and made it worse and then put me on defense mode? Ramona. She was told not to be there and she got involved. She knows I got nobody there,” Drita remembers. She recounts, “I was the one getting bullied. I felt cornered. I felt they had bad intentions. I’m going defend myself.”
Drita in no way is trying to pawn off her culpability in the situation. She is quick to admit, “I hit Ramona first. I punched her across the mouth. She shouldn’t have been there running her mouth. She knows I don’t trust her. And, Karen could have turned around and said, ‘Listen Ramona, this has nothing to do with you.’ Instead she got louder and nastier.”
Clearly these ladies are not people I want on my bad side. Drita tells the site, “I didn’t want to go to the party [in the first place]. I promised myself to never fight again on television. This is what I went in thinking. I never had intentions to ever touch her again. And, I specifically told everybody to keep Ramona far away from me.” You have to admire the fact that Drita promised herself never to fight again “on television.” Off camera everything is fair game, I presume?
Drita is not shocked by how things went down at the party, citing, “Karen and Ramona did this same thing to one of Carla [Facciolo]’s close friends. They jumped her. They don’t have a great rep when it comes to this.” I am hard pressed to find a “great rep” when it comes to any of these women! Joking aside, Drita wants to rid herself of the drama and violence, stating, “Fighting, I’m f*cking done with it man. I’m trying to put that behind me.” Good luck with that, dear lady. Good luck.
Turning to the woman on the receiving end of Drita’s right hook, Ramona Rizzo is the newest cast member who has a strong pseudo-family alliance with Karen. She speaks to the same site about why she is deserving of a spot on Mob Wives.
Going back to the family tree she discussed on last week’s episode, Ramona boasts, “I had somebody by the name of ‘Lefty Guns’ Ruggiero, who was my grandfather. The movie Donnie Brasco was based on his life. The only person I’m willing to speak about is my grandfather. We’re the real deal.”
While the family secret was that her grandfather was the member of a notorious crime family, it was kept just that — a secret — Ramona says,“I was extremely close with my grandfather. His going away affected me really bad. When I was making my communion, that’s when things started going on…My grandfather went to jail for 13 years, but they still didn’t tell me.”
She wants viewers to know, “My family hid it from me. I grew up differently. The word ‘mob’ was never used in my home. … I saw all the news with my grandfather, and that’s how [I] found [my] family’s secret out.”
Ramona’s revelation led to different choices. She explains, “Everything I went through, I didn’t want to marry Italian. If [I had] a boy, he could possibly be in the lifestyle.” Or his mother could be right in the thick of it, fighting on a balcony!
While Ramona’s former married life sounds like something out of a movie, it’s hardly a mob flick. After spending a decade married to a man from the Middle East, she struggled to get a divorce and fought to get her kids — Giovanni 13, Anissa, 12, Melina, 11, Gianna, 7 — out of the country of Jordan. Now raising her children in the U.S., she remembers, “The last time I was in Jordan was to get divorced. I went there for two-and-a-half years.”
That said, it’s clear Ramona is loyal to family… and that includes faux cousin Karen. I mean nothing negative by referencing her as faux, it merely means they aren’t blood related — I am fortunate enough to have more faux family than blood relatives. 
Of her infamous Mob Wives family member, Ramona says, “I met Karen at 4 years old. I called her mom and dad ‘aunt’ and ‘uncle.’ We did frequent holidays together.” And that, my friends, is why sometimes water is thicker than blood.

That was a crazy episode. I was hopeful for Renee and Junior even though I know what’s gonna happen. Drita, Ramona and Karen ‘s fight and later that Derrick Tobacco or whatever his name. There was so much confusion I think I need to watch it again.
Why didn’t Drita call out for big Ang to get rid of Ramona instead of just hitting her? I love you Drita, but not your quick to violence. It is way past time for you to grow up.
Luvz me sum Drita. Used to like Karen but I think she was vengeful because she previously on the receiving end of Drita beating wrath. I think Ramona is beautiful and tough – just hope she thinks and acts for herself and don’t Karen’s pawn. Karen should be thinking of her daughter.

Just before Ang went up to Karen…Karen said she would not ruin Renee’s night and start with Drita…it was Ang that said make up….put it all behind you, etc. & just when they start talking Big Ang decides to go stand with Renee…umm she knew these girls have beef…so she pretty much lit the match and walked away…

….and after watching this episode I have one question…is Drita scared of Ramona?
Drita talks about putting ppl in hospitals…and she can throw down…but did not really have a nasty word to say about Ramona…even in the interview above she just says that Ramona instigated.
I will watch this episode again but I thought it was Derek Tabacco who [accidentally] hit Ramona…that scene is hard to watch, in more ways than one.

I don’t think she knows that Ramona that well. Just that she is “cousins” with Karen and her girl, that kinda thing at least thats the impression I get from reading other interviews Drita has given.
Derek Tabacco was blamed all night about hitting Ramona, but he didn;t do it, it was Drita.

Drita is full of sh*t, I watched that episode 3 times and Big Ang is the one who started the whole damn thing. The girls could have stayed on different sides of the room, but no Big Ang told, Drita to talk to Karen, then she went to Karen and said Drita wants to talk to you. As Karen and Ramona was heading to the balcony, Big Ang said let them talk, and Romona said It looks shady, I wanna go listen “or something to that effect” Yes Karen should have told Ramona to step aside, but when someone is going around and telling people they put you in a hospital a sorry dont mean shit. Drita always says one thing, then turns around and says another. I’m glad she got punched in the damn eye..She’s always talking about fighting and putting others in the spital so I feel she got what she deserved. But Drita did hold her own against both chicks. Romona should have stayed away, and Karen needs to stop letting others get her out of character…..She doesnt even talk about that book anymore..
I was over on Stoopid Housewives and wrote a small post about the webmaster being kind of mean like Jill Zarrin. She took it down. Apparently at that sight you can’t speak your mind unless you agree with her. I had heard others say that in here and wanted to test it out. I am amazed that it is indeed true. I just went over to check and she had already deleted my comment.

I like Big Ang n Renee they own who they are. Drita n Karen still fighting over a no good felon. Drita still angry he cheated on her. Karen is a bitch, she left the state n had a baby with another man. Her child is older than Drita’s kids, so what’s the problem. They all need to think about their kids. Drita held her own against those two wild women. It was a type of set up for a ‘jump’. To me that is cowardice at its best. One on one, Drita would have tossed them off the balcony. (To me, Drita reminds me of Leah Remny from the King of Queens). Although I don’t like her behavior, I think Ramona is beautiful. Karen looks and acts awful. Last year she was one of my favorites. At last year’s brawl, I do think Renee ‘interfered’ which allowed Drita to really get the best of Karen.
I’m disgusted by her childish and cowardly behavior…go raise your daughter. Her daughter is bi-racial with a father who’s been locked up; a mother (Karen) was implicated in her grandfather’s drug ring. A grandfather who is a murderer turned rat. Ramona initially thought Tobacco hit her in the mouth yet she came to realize that it was Drita who hit her. She states, Drita’s ring braze her lip which cause it to bleed.
I do believe Drita blacks out when she fights – she seems genuinely tough. Yet, I do think she is trying to put that type of childish behavior aside to parent her children and get on with her life – solo.
I think Karen feeds off of this brawling drama.
I think big ang should have been made a full timer instead of big teeth romona. Also I read that lee cheated on drita with juniors girlfriend at the same time. I wonder if renee is suing dr. Klapper. Someone died from the same operation performed by the same guy.

U all are blind. Drita be swinging while the other 2, who talked so much shit after, was just pulling hair. They can’t throw down. And if your back was against a wall while 2 bitches are screaming at you and posturing in aggressive attacking stance, of course you’re gonna start swinging. You either hit or be hit. I think Drita did amazingly well in the fight when you consider they DID jump her. Karen wouldn’t even throw a punch unless Ramona had Drita’s head held down so she couldn’t see.
Drita tried to do the mature thing by making amends but they just had to push her buttons. I am glad she just walked away from it. Karen is pissed she can’t get a man as easy Drita can. Also, Drita is 10 times a better woman and proves that with how she interacts with her kids. Karen went off and fuckng LEFT her her own daughter for, what, weeks at a time? Ramona just needs to stay out of it because it has nothing to do with her.

I believe Drita’s eye got poked by all of those people trying to break up the fight. I didn’t really see Karen or her pitbull Lucy – Lucifer getting major hits. Meanwhile Drita was swinging for the outfield and hitting everyone. Team Drita.
I don’t think Big Ang instigated or that Renee set Drita up. I thing if Ramona didn’t go out on the balcony to back up Karen, the outcome might have been different. They went out to fight 2 on 1. I tried to watch the fight a couple times. I think Derek Tobacco possibly elbowed Ramona while trying to break up the fight. I’m not a huge fan of Renee but her party was ruined and I feel bad for her. Joonya! I want to go home!
