Following last night’s dramatic Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode, which might or might not have felt more like a finale, Cedric Martinez is now firing back at both the show and Lisa Vanderpump.
Last night, Cedric was shown “crashing” the opening party of Lisa’s SUR restaurant in an attempt to make up with Lisa. Lisa ultimately refused to make up with him, instead asking Cedric to leave her party.
Today, Cedric is telling Reality Tea, via his rep, that he was invited to the party, while also making some interesting allegations about Lisa’s hubby Ken Todd, alleging their “loveless, sexless marriage” is on “lie support.”
Below is Cedric’s full statement to Reality Tea:
“As viewers have seen all season, and especially on last night’s overly scripted episode of Real Housewives, Lisa Vanderpump is a bitter, conniving woman who will do anything for fame (and a terrible actress)! She keeps saying what I “did” to her was “vicious” but she never really says what I allegedly did.
Well, let me tell you what she did: When Lisa discovered the truth about her husband’s prostitutes, affairs and love child, she made the choice to stay with a cheater so she could continue on her desperate quest for fame. Then she kicked me to the curb, filed a false police complaint and conspired with her friend, the Editor of Us Weekly to defame and slander me.
And you gotta give her credit. It’s worked, so far. She’s more famous than ever; her loveless, sexless marriage is still alive, albeit on life support; and I’ve been marginalized. But the truth is starting to leak out and soon everyone will know of her secret extramarital love affair and the truth about her vicious attacks on me.
What viewers didn’t see last night was the weeks of back-and-forth negotiations between my manager and [name removed], the Executive Producer of Real Housewives. Dave cleared my invite (and the “olive branch” script) with Lisa. In fact, they even discussed a possible spinoff starring Lisa and me, if, according to [name removed], everything went well at the Sur party.
As proof, I’ve asked my manager to release a few of the many emails between him and [name removed] (below).
Lisa has succeeded thus far in trashing my name and manipulating the other housewives. But the race is long and I’m confident that as the truth slowly comes out, the public will come to realize Lisa’s pretty facade hides a heartless, bitter, rotting core.
Thanks to my friends and fans who have stuck with me throughout this painful process. It’s been a rough year but with your help and support, I’ve landed on my feet and I know the best is yet to come!

Indeed, Cedric also supplied us with the emails exchanged between his manager and the executive producer of the series (we have decided to blur out their name).
The emails, posted below, gives us a good behind the scenes look at the way these shows are filmed. The RHOBH producer confirms the time Cedric will be arriving to Lisa’s party and states that while Lisa has been warned Cedric is coming to attempt to make up with her, the other housewives are not aware and will be genuinely surprised to see him.
To sum this up, it appears a producer for the show invited Cedric to Lisa’s party. Lisa was given a heads up, but her reaction to Cedric and his attempt to make up with her appear to have been genuine. This doesn’t come as a major surprise as the producers of these shows are always trying to stir things up for drama a.k.a adding the sister-in-law you hate to your cast, or adding your nemesis to the show only for the two of you to become friends. Hey, at least they’re not going into film studios in Hollywood to film fake scenes, months after the fact. Coughs the Kardashians coughs.
Written in July 2011, the emails also confirms that Lisa was/is indeed in talks with Bravo for her own spinoff. An excerpt from the email reads: “Lisa is in negotiations with Bravo for a potential spin-off that would focus on the staff at Sur. That deal has been in the works for a while. All along I’ve been saying that it’s too bad Lisa and Cedric had their falling out because Cedric would’ve been perfect fit for that project.”
Do I believe the Housewives series are fake? Absolutely not. I believe most of it is real (a.k.a. the drama between Kim and Kyle Richards) with some added manufactured drama (a.k.a. producers inviting Cedric to Lisa’s party). The housewives series is what I would call ‘Manufactured Drama’ while the Kardashians’ series is what I would call ‘Scripted Drama.’

Iget your point on Taylor getting caught in lies. But when a woman is in an abusive relationship, lying becomes a normality that is hard to tell the truth. After years of lying to coverup the abuse, abused women tend to continue lying because its a old habit. IMO.
Cedric is a fameho and Lisa is a fameho x10, her fake stunts keep piling up.
I’d like to see the credentials of Taylor’s therapist. LOL. The look on Adrienne’s face when he was talking was priceless. Poor Camille (& I use to not say that much). I thought she handled the situation very well.

I completely believe that Bravo set that entire debacle up. They went for more drama leading into the end of the season. They thought Cedric may offer some. Nope. I agree that he was let in because his name was on that list thanks to Bravo. That’s why there were two men at the door. They weren’t letting just anyone saunter into Sur when the cameras were rolling on a big event. I honestly think that Cedric actually thought that Lisa wanted to make up. He looked sincere and a little shocked to me. But then again, he’s so stupid it probably took him a while until he realized he had been set up. Time for him to move on with a life!
The coincidences of who showed up or worked at that party were a bit much to believe last night. The whole thing was manipulated. The women at the table listening to Taylor being backed by her psychiatrist was ridiculous. That was certainly not the place to do something like that.
It was clear that Kim was high last night. That was the most difficult thing to watch. Then her Ken saying “stay near me okay because I lost you for a few minutes” just gave me the creeps. I was very happy when she told Kyle that she was moving out. At least she is smart enough to know a control freak when she sees one. I think it was very true when she said she was very lonely. She has always seemed that way to me. From day one. I hope she’s happy now and if she comes back next season she’ll have her life together. There’s got to be something good for the woman to look forward. At least one can hope.
Although I don’t like Kim’s Ken I thought Brandi calling him a gay bull mastiff to his face was really rude. It’s not what the man looks like, it’s how he acts that is a concern. Brandi needs to keep her mouth shut more often.
I felt very sorry for Lisa’s Ken when she pushed him away not wanting him to hug and kiss her. That seems like one very loveless and lonely marriage. They’re the same as as my husband and myself and have been married as long as we have. If I had to live like that I think I’d slit my wrists!! I still adore and love my husband to death after all these years. I know he feels the same about me.
Sorry for such a long post. Lots to comment on about that episode. LOL As you can all tell, I have an opinion on EVERYTHING!! hahaha

I am utterly sick of Taylor. I know this article is about Lisa / Cedric, but seriously, I cannot stand Taylor’s fake crying anymore! She will not allow anyone to have a peaceful night, or enjoy an event or vacation, without her drama! Taylor, stay at home if you are in that much pain! Don’t come to Lisa’s party and insist on everyone crowding around you to listen to you lies! You cannot stand for anyone’s attention to not be on you! I focused in on the no whining part & thought the exact same thing. LOL! I know the therapist at SUR was a crock, but I really thought that *reward* chart was. I know Kim is sick & needs help. I don’t care for Ken & I do believe he is controlling. I can see him using the *f* word putting her down or talking badly to her kids. Kim needs to break away from Ken, get therapy, etc. and maybe get a full time asst to help her out. I thought it was odd though for Kim to keep telling Ken to go away, while she was in the ladies room at SUR, but then as soon as she came out she was asking where he was. I think she’s better off without him. I hope she’s not pregnant. Kim needs to take care of herself & get the help she needs before she could even think about taking care of a baby. I hope Kyle was right & it’s menopause related. Frankly, I don’t know how well Kim would do taking care of even a puppy or kitten. Definitely not able to take care of a baby. Has problems taking proper care of herself. I hope she gets all the help she needs.

@ 77 Iris, generally agree as it relates to Ken, however, would not underestimate Kim’s actions contributing to his. She was acting like a spoiled child star while they were getting to ready to leave for the party. She is scatter brained, chronically weird, and question everything she says. She might call Ken out for many things, it might be true, but would not trust her word alone. Could see Ken telling Kim to put down the drinks, stop taking drugs, be nice to people and cute fuzzy animals, but in Kims twisted mind, that is controlling!

Hello everyone, I maybe the only one on here who thinks Taylor is abused. I have been there and you try and hide things and you try to work it out, but in the end you divorce. Last year she gave a benefit for domestic violence and she cried (real tears) and I was wondering why she was crying. Also when they went to the Palms last year Russel was very rude to her when he was ready to go and yanked her up by her arm. I have been around quite a few coke users and the way Kim was looking around that bathroom floor was very familiar. I love Lisa, she can do no wrong the way she treated Ken was like oh well I have been guilty for doing the same thing to my husband when I am busy and in a hurry, I love him just the same.

I’m sure in the context of that film the name was funny but outside of that context it stinks. I just question why anyone would use this particular character’s name to post on a blog.

I work for a hotel, a lot of the stuff we make in our restaurants is not much different then what you would make at home. Also we do a lot of banquets, weddings etc.
As far as a specialty, when I first started cunlinary school my teacher was this older gentleman who had been cooking for over 40 years, he said when he got that question his answer would be “anything you want me to cook”, so I take a page from his book and use that. But if I had to pick a few things my friends who I play cards with and I feed during our games when I don’t want take out, anything italian, ( generally some baked pasta dish) Chili, or BBQ and sometimes I like to recreate a few things from some strange take out places like an “Oki Dog”, ( have the tums ready for that)
I wouldnt be surprised if Ken and Cedric had a thing. Ken looks bi to me and his emotional reaction to Ken was like a lover scorned. Maybe Bravo can unearth Ken’s prostitute baby mama’s and put them on the show?
My one true hope is that this ridiculously pitiful version of “Reality” tv disappears from the airwaves as quickly as Heidi and Spencer did! I didn’t think anyone could be as disgusting SPEIDI, but they I actually think RHOBH has surpassed them!
Is Max, the adopted son of ken and Lisa really Ken’s love child and is it possible that is why Lisa did not have anymore biological children after Pandora?

@81 I so agree with you. I thought he was telling Kim to stay close to him was because he was concerned for because he knew she was high. I do believe he is controlling but that was probably the initial attraction. As a child star, she was catered to (she needed a sprite, her jewelry etc) but all her actions were controlled ( schedules, friends, dates, etc). So he seemed like a perfect match at first. He seemed genuinely concerned for her in the bathroom at SUR while she was getting high. I am not defending him because he seems disgusting but I don’t think he was all bad ( just hard to look at).
IMO, Cedric’s info pipeline in BH is Taylor. He spills about everyone except her and Russell when they are the ones holding all the beans that need to be spilled. Cedric never even mentions the ‘money shot’ in his items to the rags.
People that are abused and accustomed to keeping secrets tend to act strange and exhibit odd behavior. So many have such a venomous hate for Taylor that it’s become an obsessive witch hunt for some, with countless hours spent picking apart her every move.
I understand the interest to a certain extent, but some of these “haters” are downright creepy! You don’t know the truth, none of us do! Instead of stalking this troubled woman how about doing something to actually help those in need? Volunteer to help abused women and get out some of that unhealthy aggression you seem to have towards a woman you don’t even know. Y’all are the ones who need therapy! Step away from the t.v. and computer screen and get some air.
