Next month marks The Amazing Race‘s 20th season as the ultimate competition reality show! Eleven new teams will travel around the globe to 22 cities and nearly 400,000 miles in the hopes of winning the $1 million dollar grand prize!
Among some of the crazy challenges the teams will face is skydiving in Argentina, training with Masai warriors in Tanzania and racing through Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” The teams will also embark on a culinary tour of Italy (color me jealous!) and visit King Ludwig’s quarters in the German castle that served as the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty’s castle in the infamous fairytale. Color me jealous, again!
And like it or not, Big Brother alums Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly will be competing this season! Safe to say Rachel will not be allowing anyone to get between her and the million dollars!
This season’s cast also features Guido best friends and a border patrol team. Meet the eleven new race teams below!
CBS recently released a sneak peak of the upcoming season, which features tons of insane adventures and looks, frankly, amazing.
The Amazing Race premiers Sunday, February 19th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

I thought they were brilliant scientists/doctors, how is it they can take soooooo much time away from their respective careers?

Ugh. Rachel. I fail to see the appeal of her and Brandon must be crazy if he wants to marry her. Too bad they are polluting this show with their inane drama!

OMG! it was hard enough having to hear Rachel on Big Brother for two seasons, There is no way I am going to watch her on the Amazing Race. Why don’t the two of them go and get real jobs like the rest of the world.They both disgust me. Can’t wait to hear how angry they get at each other when they lose a challenge.
Brenchel are the only reason I’ll be tuning in to this show.
I literally HATED Brenchel by the time they appeared again on BB13 (was it 13?). But I’m a fan now. I love Rachel! But if she starts that no self esteem, whining, bookie crap again. I’m gone. . .
Why is there always such a low number of people of color on this show?

Yay!! So excited. This is my favorite show — love seeing all the places around the world and the culture-inspired challenges. I didn’t watch Rachel and Brendon on Big Bro so it’s a clean slate for me.
@9 — Perhaps relatively few “people of color” applied? What characteristics qualify a person as one of color? I’m just not sure.
Yeah!!! Love this show – and they’re going to visit one of my favorite castles – Neuschwanstein.
Can’t wait to see how Rachel and Brendon handle this race as she will not be the queen of the house as in BB. She had better not whine or cry her way thru this race.
Grr…watching Rachel and Brendon on Big Brother again was hard to stomach. Not sure I can watch AR now. Seriously CBS…STOP bringing old people back on all your shows (i.e. Survivor, Big Brother and now AR) in order to garner lost ratings. The viewers are NOT stupid and we all know that BB was fixed for Rachel to win so she would stop saying the show ruined her life. It’s because of these ignorant people you cast that you’re losing viewers. Stop dumming us down.

Rachel didn’t look as heavy in the house this past summer. I thought she would be working out hard to fit in her wedding dress.lol. She and Brendon are a strange pairing. But they may do good since both are good a physical things and are both pretty smart. Looking forward to the watching the season or dvring it and then watching it, I should say.

In this group of people on the surface it looks like there are people of Indian, Asian descent, black, white, then there are also gay and straight, married and co-habitating. I think it’s a diverse group.
I also think Rachel looks like she is in great shape.

Isn’t it risky to guess the race of the contestants based on their photos? That seems like racial profiling or something.
Doesn’t matter. This is a great show and I’m jazzed.
I saw a photo of Brenchal filming in the latter stages of the race so it looks like they may actually go to the end.
Can you imagine? I’m all ready dreading all the whining and crying.
Rachel & Brandon are the reason I will NOT being Watching I am so sick of those two people CBS (Like E!) Needs to read that more people are sick of them,

I love The Amazing Race. I do wish that they would not allow people that’s already been on a Tv show and won to compete again so soon. Tired of seeing them. I am rooting for the twin boys, the federal agents and the border patrol . That’s my pick to race to the finish line. I’m not worried about Brenchal winning because the first high pressure situation, she will have melt down and he will have to console her for an hour.
