Poor Kim Kardashian, she overestimated just how much America really loved her and as a result, continues to suffer major backlash following her 72-day marriage, which reportedly garnered her over $17 million!
And unfortunately for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, there seems to be no quick resolve for her messy divorce as Kris Humphries is hell bent on proving she is a fraud.
As we reported during the week, Kimmie and Kris are now at a standstill as Kris wants an annulment on the grounds of fraud, while Kim continues to insist the marriage was real, hence her reason for wanting a divorce over an annulment. In fact, Kim reportedly instructed her lawyers to try to keep the divorce proceedings under wraps and in private–oh the irony!–while Kris wants a televised hearing so the world can finally see Kim and the rest of her family for the fakes that they are.
And according to a new report by Radar Online, Kimmie Kakes is willing to do whatever it takes to keep from being exposed, which includes offering Kris hush money to go away quietly. However, Kris’ lawyer has conveyed to Kim’s attorneys that he is NOT interested in a cash settlement. You go Kris!
“There have been informal settlement talks going on between Kim and Kris’ respective lawyers. Team Humphries has made it crystal clear though that Kris isn’t seeking any money from Kim. Kris doesn’t want one penny from her. His lawyers have said the only terms acceptable for a settlement would be if Kim agrees to Kris’ contention that the marriage was a fraud,” says the source to Radar.
The source continues, “There is a stand-off at this point because Kim will never agree to that, she says the marriage wasn’t a fraud. It just didn’t work out.”
Kris’ lawyer is now moving forward in trying to prove his fraud case, and is planning to question Kim, her pimpmomager Kris Jenner, and E! executives about the now infamous fake Dubai scene they claim was taped in October, which we exposed was actually filmed in December at a film studio in LA… months after the divorce filing.
Another reason Kris wants the annulment over the divorce is because of the prenup he signed. The prenup reportedly prohibits him from speaking negatively of Kim or their marriage, but if he’s able to get an annulment, that prenup would be void, and he would be free to speak his mind.
While Kim continues to remain mum on her divorce and tanking popularity & brand, her BFF Jonathan Cheban is doing her dirty work his darndest to defend her.
Talking to the HollywoodLife blog, the very heterosexual Jonathan first slams Kris for wanting the divorce proceedings made public. “I mean for a guy that doesn’t like [media attention] … it’s really weird that he’s pushing for that to happen,” Jonathan states. “Kim is not doing the fighting, it’s up to the lawyers now. I just think that if he wants to keep pursuing it, he obviously has a big issue.” Perhaps someone needs to tell Jonathan most people wouldn’t take to well to discovering they were nothing but a prop for a famewhore’s reality show!
The wonky-eyed one then goes on to insist the 72-day marriage was very real! “The wedding was not fake, he’ll never be able to prove that the marriage and wedding was fake. It’s impossible,” Jonathan claims.”The wedding was real. I was there from the beginning where Kim was like ‘He’s cute, that guy, I want to meet him!’ You know what I mean? It could never work in court.”
And finally, it seems Kris, 27, has learned his lesson the hard way, as sources close to him are now revealing he is not only completely over Kim, but has also vowed to never marry another phony famewhore!
“Kris is so over Kim,” a source close to him reveals to the HollywoodLife. “He says he never even really knew who the real Kim was.” The source adds, “The Kim Kris fell in love with doesn’t exist anymore. Of course, she broke his heart, but Kris feels he’s a better person now.”
Kris, who is said not to be dating anyone at the moment, is reportedly taking his time before jumping into another romance or marriage. “Kris is more clear about the type of woman he eventually wants to marry and he doesn’t want her to be anything like the Kim you see on the reality show,” the source says. Can ya blame him?

Uhm, who are you to say Kim’s wedding was fake? And who are you to say she’s offering him hush money? Do you know how much of the information you obtain is rumors and totally false? And 80% of the people in Hollywood are famewhores! You really twist this story to make Kim sound like a demon, remember she is a human being and you should really tone it down on the hate talk and bullying her. It’s very immature and irresponsible.
@151 Rachel – Umm yeah becuase it wasn’t mean, hateful or bullying at all for Kim and her family to try to make Kris H. look bad all season on KKTNY? Oh, and what about the story that he was gay? Or how about that he was the husband from hell and was so mean to her? Yeah, that wasn’t bullying at all was it. Kim doesn’t treat others as human – so she isn’t getting it in return.

I will add that I had 2 annulments from my hubs.
You can get an annulment as easy as a divorce.
You don’t need a special reason.
They are easy, cheap, and fast.
Both took about 2 weeks.
The lawyer does the paperwork. You can even add
the settlement just like a regular divorce, you sign, and
then it is taken to the judge for approval.
Once the judge approves, you are no longer married.
Both times I didn’t even have a lawyer.
The first time I just signed it.
The second time,
on the last page I wrote what I wanted and even requested alimony.
I wrote the amount.
Gave it to my hubs who said, WTF???
LOL!!!!!
Then I said, we can have a divorce and I’m entitled to more.
I was very nice! Lol!!!
2 days later the lawyer wrote it up and I signed.
Of course, this only works, if both parties are in agreement like we were.
Kim probably doesn’t
want an annulment
because she has contracts with wedding vendors.
Also, Kris may then break his confidentiality
agreement and speak to the media.
Anything is negotiable!!
It is in their best interest to divorce, so that Kim doesn’t get caught up in legal disputes with the wedding vendors.

on the E! channel.
Kim offers some kind of apology owning up
to what she did.
I think this is what he is looking for.
She can even do it on her show and
draw in the ratings!!!!
He honors the confidentiality agreement since she is a public figure.
If Kris wants money then she should give it to him.

What Kris H. should do is publicly lobby TruTV to carry the divorce proceedings on InSession if he needs to have it televised. That way it may be a bit boring but at least it will be raw and there’s no way it could be spun (unlike someone like E! whose bias might show given his ex’s family pretty much makes up 1/3rd of their broadcasting schedule).
