Yesterday, the cast members of Basketball Wives put in their two cents about Evelyn Lozada’s bottle and plate throwing tirade, and now Evelyn is weighing in.
The hot-tempered Evelyn spoke with Radar Online about the bottle smashing incident. She’s regretful…to a point.
“I do regret throwing the bottle, Shaunie (O’Neal) was there, and her or one of my castmates could have been hurt. Things went too far and I will definitely apologize for that. I would have felt bad if Kenya had been hurt, she’s a mom with two children, so God forbid if she’d have been hurt, and I could have gone to jail! My anger got the best of me with that.”
Evelyn feels that Kenya Bell was busy trying to stir up drama to keep her place on the show. “There were a lot of things going on while the cameras were off as well as on. She was always stirring the pot behind the scenes and saying things to producers to be relevant on the show.” Um, isn’t that what they ALL do?
Evelyn accuses Kenya of not being real. “It is hard for me to respect you when you are coming in and not being yourself. Her personality changes with whichever cast member she is with at the time filming.”
Things haven’t gotten any better between the two. “It is a strange relationship there, I don’t say friendship because we’re not friends.”
She says of the season finale: “I think people will be surprised who remains friends at the end of the season, there are definitely a few shocks. There are people who you think are solid and who are no longer friends, there are definitely friendships that don’t last, aside from mine with Jennifer.”
How does anyone stay friends with a hot head like that? I don’t find fearing for my safety an endearing quality in a BFF—you? They all need an anger management intervention!
