Basketball Wives LA is in the middle of filming and they are not going to be unseated in the drama department by the veteran BB hook-ups wives! Apparently there’s been many cast changes since last season, most notably Imani Showalter may be out!
Taking her place? Brooke Bailey! Sister2Sister reports that Brooke, formerly of E!’s “Candy Girls” reality show and former fling of NBA player Rashad Lewis, will be joining the cast as yet another woman who was never a wife! Even worse, Brooke was reportedly Rashad’s mistress who came between him and his pregnant girlfriend! All class, no trash there. Brooke is a friend of sorts of Draya Michele. More strikes against her!

In order to officially, unofficially announce Brooke‘s entry into the classiest show on TV, a pool party was hosted to celebrate her birthday – and just who was in attendance? All the ladies from Basketball Wives: LA, save for Imani! I’m sure Draya was relieved.
VH1 hints that Imani is out, mentioning it on their blurb about Brooke‘s party. Well, Imani – that’s too bad, I wonder why she’s not coming back?
Appearing at Brooke‘s bash was Draya, of course, Laura and Gloria Govan, Jackie Christie, and Malaysia Pargo.
Laura and Gloria recently spoke to VH1 about what fans can expect this season and they are in favor of the cast revamp. “On these kinds of shows you do kinda need to freshen up…,” Gloria said. “I think it’s only natural to kind of replace and bring in, and we’ve done that on our show as well.”
Laura hints that this season is very exciting – and she will not be one of the ladies losing her contract because she’s boring. “You gotta bring it when it comes to Basketball Wives,” Laura adds. “So it’s brought.” Filming has two more months to go, so we can expect BBW: LA to appear in the late-fall, it seems.
