DWTS’s Cheryl Burke Talks All-Star Season; Kate Gosselin Happy Not To Be Chosen (Yeah, Right)!

Look out Dancing With the Stars fans!   The All-Stars edition is going to bring the drama…and the professional dancers’ A game.

Veteran pro Cheryl Burke is concerned about how to step up her game.  It’s all about costumes, choreography, and celebrity.  The three C’s I guess you could say.  And Cheryl should know…three of the returning All-Stars graced the dance floor as partners with this pro.

Cheryl tells Access Hollywood, “The pressure is going to be huge.  I mean, I still wake up and I [think], ‘OK, what can I do different?’ The costumes have to be different, the choreography has to be different — I mean, the level of [difficulty] from Season 2 until now has been extreme, absolutely.”

Cheryl will be welcoming back to the ballroom former partners Drew Lachey, mirror ball champion Emmitt Smith, and Gilles Marini.  However, she’s unsure as to whether she’ll be partnered with a familiar face or a newbie.

She says, “I have no idea — it’s gonna be heartbreaking, honestly, at the end of the day.  I’m going to be one of those jealous women there… I’m going to be sneaking into rehearsals.”

Cheryl also explains that producers will potentially double their rehearsal time, joking, “They’re probably going to make our hours crazy. We’re already doing seven days a week — they’re probably going to be like, ‘Six dances! Let’s see who gets through it. Let’s mix it up!’”

Of course, there is one former DWTS alum who hates being absent from the All-Stars line-up.  I’m sure no one is shocked to learn that Kate Gosselin really, really, really, really wanted to be a part of the upcoming season.  Perhaps she should have considered that before being such a pill on her first go-round!

It’s no shocker that Kate tells Us Weekly she’s relieved not to be part of the line-up.  Yeah, I buy that!  She tells the site, “I count each one to be braver than perhaps I could be to face the immense amount of fear, nerves and criticism that no doubt comes with the dancing shoes. And to do it all over again? I am amazed and impressed!  My feet are sore and blistering for you already.”  Yes, I’m sure she’s thanking the heavens that she wasn’t chosen to be among the All-Stars…given that all the rumors had Kate begging for a shot on the show.  I’m floored to learn she wanted to be a part of it, you?

The new season premieres on ABC September 25th.
