LeAnn Rimes Sues Cyber Bullies (Aka Brandi Glanville Supporters) For Illegally Recording Conversation; Enters Rehab

It's an understatement to say that LeAnn Rimes is having one helluva week. What should've been a fun week as she turned 30, turned into one filled with lawsuits and rehab!

LeAnn's rep shared this morning that she had entered a 30-day treatment program for stress and anxiety. "LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress. While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

One person in LeAnn's corner? Brandi GlanvilleBrandi, instead of reveling in the drama, took the high road and wished LeAnn well.  "I totally support LeAnn's decision to enter rehab — my top priority is my children, and at the end of the day we are a family. LeAnn is their stepmom, and they love her. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will find what she is looking for while in rehab."

LeAnn's stress and anxiety may have a little something to do with an illegally recorded conversation that she had with a Twitter user who wasn't a fan (to put it mildly).  LeAnn was at a lunch with some of her Twitter followers (!?!) and made a phone call to "Brandi supporters" Kimberly Smiley and Lexi Smiley in an attempt to calm down the negative Twitter feuds (mostly bashing her over her affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian).  Kimberly and Lexi recorded the call and have allegedly been sharing bits of it online, which is highly illegal in the state of California.

LeAnn decided that she wasn't going to take anymore of the bullying and has filed suit against the women for invasion of privacy!

According to TMZ: LeAnn alleges Kimberly and Lexi illegally and secretly recorded the conversation and then released out-of-context excerpts, painting her in a "false and negative light." They also allegedly made statements that LeAnn was "crazy and delusional."

She is also reportedly going to the police to see if they can be prosecuted for the illegal recording. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THE SMILEYS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR RECORDING THE CALL AND SHARING IT ACROSS THE INTERNET?
